This matured aggressively looking animal was just killed now. Been looking for a snake but I guess this one will make front page as I really want to know the name as they are abundant here and on top of the food chain of the local wild life after snakes.

Looks like a mongoose. Not a rat

Mongoose and weasel in Nigeria, I seriously doubt it.
Wish it was a snake thread it would have gone to front page.
Now am at a delima as my daughter really is asking what's the name and the pics of mongoose and weasel do not match this rodent in goofle
