I doubt the pedantic IRCC will approve an application when they are yet to verify all submitted documents. I think the only verification they might conduct will be on the visas in the passport since that is the 1st time they are seeing the passport physically.

They actually do. For someone i had access to her application, They contacted the bank to verify account statement cos after compressing account statement, some stamps and writing were almost out of place and some very blurry. The person had to go back to the bank cos even the bank was doubting the statement. Of course the informations were not altered just the stamped areas. After confirmation, the bank responded to the embassy and the next day, status changed to approved. Note that every child in the application, the status changed to approved after submitting passport but the parents own didn't change.

If your reasons for wanting to visit Canada is genuine and you have good home ties then travel history will not be an issue.

Give it a shot.

My advice would be to travel to a well-respected country and back before trying Canada. However, if you have a very genuine reason for going to Canada apart from the routine @vacation@ you can apply.

All the best.

Good morning All,

Please i have a question.

I applied for my GCMS notes on 27th June 2019 through ApplyGCMS.com after my 1st TRV Application rejection due to "Family Ties in Home country & Canada ".

Currently awaiting feedback on my 2nd application (Reapplied immediately attached documents proving ties in Nigeria).

It has been 35 days since i applied for my GCMS notes yet nothing has been received as GCMS notes is supposed to be sent after 30 calendar days.

All efforts to reach ApplyGCMS.com proved abortive as they have not been responding to my email since Monday (Sent them 3 emails Mon - wed) There is no contact number on the website.

Do i need to be worried about the delay or is this normal? at least they should respond and tell me if more time will be required.

Is any one going through this ?

Good morning All,
Maybe try to check the inbox thread through which you sent them the message.

I was checking my inbox for a new message from them. I later saw the message few days later as part of the previous message thread I sent to them.

So you could try that.

Thanks, all the emails from them gotten from Mon - Wednesday were generic response messages. I've checked each one by one as well as my spam but nothing. hopefully they response asap. How many days did it take for your GCMS notes to be sent to you ?

Just relax, you will get it. Yes, sometimes more than the 30 day. If you read the confirmation given to you, it is stated there. Ideal time is the 30 days but in some cases, the days might be more.

Thats the benefit Canada has over others. You can always add information even after payment and submission. Just visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Well there are specific informations that you can add:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=326&top=23

You can only add other documents or information at their request.

Always ensure your application is complete before sending it.

If you see the second bullet point it clearly stated you can use the form to update or add information. When my application passed the event date, I used the form to add new event so that it won't appear my purpose for the trip has passed. Few days after the upload I got a ghost update on my account.

This are my understanding though.

Hi all,

my husband andAI are well traveled (over 16 countries) with good jobs, we also have valid usa and uk visa

My question is should we submit individual applications or together?

I ask because the family checklist gives only one person the chance to submit sufficient documents?

Is this ok?

Thanks for your response

You can select that you also depend on someone for financial support. This will bring out a new section for him to upload his documents.

If you are submitting together, you can include your own bank statement under "client info"
Or you become the major applicant and indicate you depend on someone for financial so you can have a column to put his own statement ans other financial documents

Good Morning All,

Please I would like to confirm if I can obtain a work permit with a tourist Canadian Visa and if my children can attend school in Canada considering our status.

Thank you.
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by FYsol: 9:10am On Aug 03, 2019
Yes. But the route is as good as impossible. Your employer will have to file an LMIA for you proving to IRCC why only you and not millions of their citizens and PR can fill the position. If by some stroke of luck your LMIA is approved then you can apply for your work permit.
I don't know about children schooling. Since you are there on a short visit why enroll your children. I will not advice break the terms of your visa
