Hello, why do you want to buy a used sewing machine if there are many options to buy a new sewing machine. Personally I wanted to buy sewing machine for my mom as a present for her birthday, and, as far as you understand, I had to buy a new one because it's mom's birthday, but I had only 200$. I was advised to buy a sewing machine from local shops, but it wasn't of proper quality... Then I searched for sewing machines in the Internet, and the first link I found was the article with the Best sewing machine for quilting and you know, there I was able to find a suitable one by quality, budget and there I also read review that helped me to decide on a solution, so I bought Janome 2212 Sewing Machine, and my mother was over the moon
