See the people shouting revolution one leg in nigeria the other in America - step brothers of nnamdi kanu - people that want to plant marijuana instead of yam and cocoa - or people that would have the allegiances in personal interests

One day we would all be alright

Lol, the only reason why Buhari can hold those people prisoners for long was simply because they are northerners.

In a democracy, A sitting president of a certain tribe cannot hold other people from a different tribe hostage for that long years coz people will protest until he succumb coz Nigeria is all about tribal interest.

If the person help prisoner were to be Yoruba, south-south, it would have been the same result.

Just imagine Buhari holding Sowore hostage for 1year, and imagine what kind of movement will spring up in the Southwest. It’s just common sense, stop adducing too much praise to Kanu Caz he was used indirectly to lessen the vote turnout in the SE which led to the defeat of Atiku. It’s all a game
Sowore is one of the Ijaw in Ondo

- Total number of votes cast Big Brother Nigeria 2018 = 170m

- Total number of votes cast General election 2019 = 27m

A practical reality of who we are as people and where our priority lies as citizens.

The Funny side in all of these; we still go to bed, have a good sleep and wake up with the hope to meet a Nigeria we didn't create. ©️

Even as we match for #Revolutionnow, let's all have a revolutionised Mindset....
We are fighting a mind war!

I can assure you that Buhari can hold Sowore and nothing will happen, as he doesn't have as much passionate followers as Kanu

I believe someone like Olisa Metuh who is an easterner is still being hounded by Buhari's people.
Your argument doesn't hold much water.

OfoIgbo:
What people do not really know is that with one single tweet (or broadcast on Radio Biafra) from Nnamdi Kanu, tens of millions of committed Biafrans in Nigerian attire will flood the streets of Nigeria.

No Nigerian can do this at the moment. So if Sowore has sought Kanu's help and Kanu is willing to give that help, then this could be interesting.

Look at it this way. Buhari jailed Zakzakky and Dasuki before he jailed Kanu, yet Kanu was the only person to ever make it out of Buhari's gulags. Everyone knows that Buhari's obstinacy is legendary, yet he met a movement far more obstinate than him in IPOB, to be so frightened as to release Kanu. And eventually to declare a non-violent organisation as a terrorist organisation. This is simply because Buhari and his inner caucus felt terrorised by Kanu's IPOB.

I am not such a major fan of Kanu, because he can be shortsighted at times, but there is no denying his effortless mobilization capabilities, of his IPOB's faithfuls in a nanosecond.
lol

gidgiddy:
Those who believe in Biafra are not going to come out for Sowores revolution and neither will IPOB

The reason is simple. Biafrans are about a new beginning, Sowore is about saving Nigeria. Biafrans dont care about saving Nigeria

Both are two different things
Your logic is sound. However think of it this way. IPOB may see the coming protest as an avenue to achieve measure that will make ultimate independence, more possible. I hope you see where I am coming from

Buhari cannot hold Sowore hostage, there will be chaos.

How was Olisa Metuh held hostage?? Is corruption trial what they call hostage?

Buhari can’t even hold Fani Kayode hostage coz the effect will be devastating considering the ethnic protest that will evolve after that.

Nigeria is complex than you think.

Not really, the worse Nigeria gets, the better for IPOB. A bad Nigeria goes a long way to keep reminding IPOB supporters that Nigeria is irredeemable and of no use to anybody.

The last thing IPOB is going to support is anything that helps make Nigeria better, such as Sowore's revolution.

you are not a fan of kanu but even fans don't do this much worshipping?

Remember iPod apologists all concluded buhari killed kanu but couldn't do "jack" so where was the pressure or fear?

Buhari release of kanu was a strategic political chess which worked, the series of discrepancies kanu made was why atiku got the lowest turnout from the east.

Has buhari ever battered an eyelid whenever he unleaches on the terrorist group which you are chest beating for.

The protest you are talking of is just another owambe to get noticed, when real protest start the people would not be looking for dress code before they express their frustration
Buhari could not get hold of Kanu, and that must have frustrated him seriously. Kanu is alive and kicking, and I am sure that is why IPOB did not do much, as I am sure the the headship of that organisation may have known of Kanu's safety, which is probably why they didn't pursue any aggressive procedure.

Anyway, in spite of the shortcomings of IPOB, they have helped in hardening stances in the SE and SS, which is why the SE governors seem more aggressive in terms of the whole RUGA and Fulani terrorist threats

Again rubbish, why removing the Yoruba aspect of Sowore. Omoyele (meaning son is worthy of the house in Yoruba). Can you please tell me an Ijaw with this name and how why his parents named him that.

One of his parent can be Ijaw while the other is Yoruba which I’m not denying but why saying he ain’t Yoruba??

Bear in mind that a good Nigeria, is probably a restructured Nigeria.
So in the case of a restructured Nigeria, maybe if Nigeria is still found wanting, there will be provisions in the constitution for any federating unit to quite the federation.
Again, these are some of the intricate issues that Kanu may not understand, for which I described him earlier on, as short-sighted.
Highly intelligent Igbos should really be making some important decisions. Not Kanu. I will prefer people like Tony Nnadi or the ADF crew. They are far more enlightened, and astute enough to deal with these dicey intricacies
