Sowore is an Ijaw not Yoruba

Having a Yoruba name doesn't make him a Yoruba

Sowore is an Ijaw man and not Yoruba
The apois identify more as Yorubas than ijaws. Surely the apois have half ijaw ancestry and half Yoruba ancestry, but over the centuries, they have assimilated the Yoruba culture to the extent that they easily pass more for Yoruba than ijaw. In other words, they have been yorubanized.

Again rubbish, why removing the Yoruba aspect of Sowore. Omoyele (meaning son is worthy of the house in Yoruba). Can you please tell me an Ijaw with this name and how why his parents named him that.

One of his parent can be Ijaw while the other is Yoruba which I’m not denying but why saying he ain’t Yoruba??
Sowore is a full blooded Ijaw man not Yoruba, it was even written on his Wikipedia page that he is Ijaw

But you can keep denying or whatever, it wouldn't change the fact that he is an Ijaw and part of Ijaw from Ondo

Go and meet Sowore and tell him he is not Yoruba.

I don’t have time to discuss things that are not relevant coz it’s just waste of precious time.

you are not a fan of kanu but even fans don't do this much worshipping?

Remember iPod apologists all concluded buhari killed kanu but couldn't do "jack" so where was the pressure or fear?

Buhari release of kanu was a strategic political chess which worked, the series of discrepancies kanu made was why atiku got the lowest turnout from the east.

Has buhari ever battered an eyelid whenever he unleaches on the terrorist group which you are chest beating for.

The protest you are talking of is just another owambe to get noticed, when real protest start the people would not be looking for dress code before they express their frustration
Everybody knew KANU was not killed. Ffk just pull that stunt

You are stuck in the last decade if you think this is about APC or PDP. This is no longer about political, tribal or religious afiliations. This is about picking Nigeria up from the dung hill, restoring her to Grace and securing a great future for our children. It makes me sad, to think that people of your mindset are Youth/future leaders of this country

God bless you. I'm aware of the stranglehold on power by the greedy political class and I'm fully in support of a Nigeria that works but first, we need to separate genuine freedom fighters from aggrieved politicians.

let me make it clear that I don't have a problem with kanu or his agitation, my problem is these empty chest beating.

The simple truth is that ipob has never had the capacity to disturb this buhari in anyway.

Is it court order that buhari hasn't ignored against dasuki, el zakazy etc (mind you elzazaky has followers who don't fear death plus an open risk from Iran).

Is it the clampdown and proscription of ipob this government hasn't humiliated ipob to the extent of swimming in mud.

Their is nothing to chest beat, iPod has no allegiance with Israel and usa which it is forcing you to believe.

They have no weapon as you are made to chest beat on, they have no intelligence and nothing.

Its is just a rag tag group of civilians who want out, ijaw militants are a threat than them
You can chest-beat all you want. IPOB is a greater threat to Nigeria or Buhari than IMN.
IPOB is a greater threat to Nigeria or Buhari than OPC.

Ask yourself why IMN people started forming Igbo just a few days ago in their protests? They didn't form Ijaw militants. They didn't form Ohanaeze youths. They definitely didn't form OPC militants.
But they disguised themselves as a Biafran flag-carrying, Igbo-speaking group, simply to scare Buhari. Believe you me, IPOB doesn't bear arms, but if they were to bear arms, Kanu will be the leader of the most committed and aggressive freedom fighting machine, that can even hit Daura (Buhari's hometown) at will, talkless of Abuja and every other part of Nigeria. Make no mistakes about this.

Unarmed IPOB youths lost hundreds, in spite of the fact that they had no weapons, so you can imagine what such a committed body will do, once they are issued with weapons, and with the pent-up anger of the killings that have been visited on them. Buhari will have NO CHANCE IN HELL

What people do not really know is that with one single tweet (or broadcast on Radio Biafra) from Nnamdi Kanu, tens of millions of committed Biafrans in Nigerian attire will flood the streets of Nigeria.

I am not such a major fan of Kanu, because he can be shortsighted at times, but there is no denying his effortless mobilization capabilities, of his IPOB's faithfuls in a nanosecond.
You see your life??

Like Kanu, like Tinubu.
HOW can Nigeria move forward?

.....we are not talking about gullible people who will jump up to embrace the revolution just because one selfish old man somewhere, for some political gains, asks them to jump

The revolution is for people to jump up only because they feel it is right to jump; and not because someone somewhere asked them to jump.

People that should be on the farm tilling the land to provide food for themselves are shouting revolution as if they understand what revolution means. Laziness and genetic inferiority are some of the problems facing the black race. Irrespective of the short comings of our political leaders, Nigerian is still a democracy with laid down procedures for changing a government. Democracy may not be what want we need right now, but it was what majority of Nigerians clamoured for during the days of the military. What we don't understand is that no country as underdeveloped as Nigeria is will be able to develop a functioning democracy. Functioning democracy is incompatible with poverty, ignorance and underdevelopment. And for people to think that protests will make the elites give up their privileges is just forlorn. The elites will continue to dominate even if the current elites are forced to share power.

- Total number of votes cast Big Brother Nigeria 2018 = 170m

- Total number of votes cast General election 2019 = 27m

A practical reality of who we are as people and where our priority lies as citizens.

The Funny side in all of these; we still go to bed, have a good sleep and wake up with the hope to meet a Nigeria we didn't create. ©️

Even as we match for #Revolutionnow, let's all have a revolutionised Mindset....
We are fighting a mind war![/quote

Bless you!
I will sleep better tonight, knowing you are with us in the ranks of those who will demand for and stand for the change they want to see. Some locos can feel free to try to distract us from #Revolutionnow, but their attempt is dead on arrival. A people deserve the government they get. So starting now, we will be the people who are deserving of a better government.

From all previous protests, what has come out of them ? From Sowore, Dele Momodu to Sheu Sanni, who are all bunch of loosers from presidential to senatorial bids are using the opportunity to fight their selfish interests not known to you. If they all won elections they contested for, will they ask for revolution? You are the one i pity, don't come back here to tell us "you were harmless, but police shut you on sight", all of them have their children schooling in abroad and if anything goes wrong, they can run back to another country. Try to get sense now, i will not come here to waste "RIP" on any senseless individual who choose to die out of his foolishness. Be wise!

The fool who wears an Afro hairstyle, Shehu Sanni, what did he do as Senator for 4 years (2015 to 2019) to change the status quo?

What did he (Shehu Sanni) do for the masses in his small Senatorial District other than distribution of pocket-sized transistor radios to few constituents as "empowerment"?

The daft clown was retired politically by El-Rufai and now, he spends his entire life, daily, ranting on Twitter!

If the fool had been allowed to remain in APC, and if he was elected as Senator this year, would he have loudly supported this nonsense revolution?

How could any sane man follow anything spearheaded by Shehu Sani?

We are damn too gullible! Anyone who enjoyed political largesse from 1999 till today has NO MORAL RIGHT to lead any lazy youth to any senseless protest!

I can understand Sowore leading it, but fools like Shehu Sanni should be castrated already!

Those who believe in Biafra are not going to come out for Sowores revolution and neither will IPOB

The reason is simple. Biafrans are about a new beginning, Sowore is about saving Nigeria. Biafrans dont care about saving Nigeria
