I thought you said his clothes fell off. Now you are saying he took of his clothes. The Bible didn't say he took off his clothes. He was only dressed in a linen Ephod. It is Micah that said he took ofg his clothes. David decided to dance in the linen Ephod because that was what he had on at the time. That's even a pointer to the fact that dance acceptable before God has no pattern nor manner. If it has, then David would have had to be fully clothed before dancing.

If you go into a church with just pant and bra or boxer to dance, they will throw you out. But if preachers meet you on the street dressed like that and they preach to you, they won't complain if you dance joyfully because of the gospel while still dressed like that. Guess what? God is there before you all and he would gladly accept your dance offering. He won't wait till you put on clothes before he accepts your spontaneous show off gratitude. But he won't allow that mode of dressing in church, neither will he accept worldly dance. David didn't dress like that in the temple. It was somewhere else they were when he danced like that. The question should be, is the dance step sexually suggestive or distracting? If not, then I think this is highly unnecessary. We will end up roping ourselves into another set of religious dogmas that have no means of making the adherents of it righteous.

Why would you go to church and be forming holy, then run to club the next day and become 'unholy'? Isn't that hypocrisy? This is why Christians get frustrated with religion. Who are you deceiving? Certainly not God.

I applaud that pastor's wife who was doing her gbe body e in the church. Many Christians are hypocrites and this is a very big part of our problem. We aspire towards holyness but we are not perfect and Christ knew this.

Many Christians are very quick to judge one another and condemn, when Christ condemned no one.
