—Says Peaceful protest different from incitement for revolution
—Tells those behind the planned revolution to unmasked themselves

ABUJA—THE Presidency yesterday said that the only way to change government in a democracy was through electoral process

This came on the heels of the African Actor Congress, AAC in the February 23 Presidential election, planned revolution spearheaded by the Presidential Candidate of the Omoyele Sowore.

The Presidency in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu said that the government will always welcome peaceful protest by the citizenry to express their grievances, but added that peaceful protest was different from incitement for revolution.

So Sowore couldn't lead a protest before the elections but wants to do it now?. Many Nigerians witnessed the plague during PMB's era yet they foolishly voted him back why the worry Sowore? Is there something you are not saying that needs clarification? Is this a scripted episode? Are Nigerians even ready for protest in the first place?

Many of you do not need replies on this forum but it is necessary to coach you and redirect your thoughts to meaningful and logical reasoning. So I will break it down like I do when I teach Mathematics to SS grade students.

1 - Sowore wanted to do just what Presidency said - change government through electoral process - and so he joined the race for that purpose.
2 - You have said Buhari stole people's mandate and rigged the election outcome. That means the process to change govt was flawed.
3 - The way to address the outcome is go to court for redress. PDP is in court
4 - None of the items of grievances listed by #revolutionnow is new to the grievances already voiced from the four corners of Nigeria.
5 - Sowore's activism predated the 4th Republic that we are in. Sahara Reporters "SR' which he owns came about as result of activism in NY.

Sowore does not loose, SR is a treasure that will sustain him and generations into the future. Infact, he ought to retire from activism, sit back and enjoy his wealth. So why really is he leading a protest against the ruling government? He is doing so because PDP, the opposition party has failed to hold this govt feet to the fire. Many of you in PDP who oppose this revolution protest ought to have your brains checked. Sowore is doing what your party should be doing. When GEJ was in Govt, was ACN and CPC, which later became APC, not constantly voicing out opposition and even providing platform that protested against PDP? Where do you think the phrase clueless came from, and then multiplied via voices on social media until it finally became a brand for GEJ? Do you recall his interview infront of Christian Amanpour and broadcasted live around the world?

I dont need to talk at length and get a restriction from nairaland's bot..but Give Sowore a slack. grin
