chicken? tell me more please !
There was this British nuclear landmine in the 50s , the idea was they will bury it inside territory where the chances of attack was high .

If not able to defend the territory they would arm the mine and withdraw .

Problem was in Europes cold weather , the arming mechanism might get kaput , it needed external heating to keep it working for weeks if needed so that the trigger is able to detonate it.

Due to technological restrictions and design and nature of nuke mine , scientists decided to enclose a live chicken along with adequate food and water , within close proximity of the arming mechanism so that the body heat of chicken kept the arming mechanism from freezing up due to cold weather for more than a week . So if the buried chicken powered mine got triggered , the arming will still be warm enough to be working inorder to detonate the mine .

There u have the blueprints of the chicken powered 10 kiloton nuclear land mine grin grin grin

Neither should they believe in earth's gravity ( reason for the almost spherical shape ) and hence should naturally fly off to outer space in search of a flat planet.

Zoharariel:
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe goes to Iran for the first Japanese Head of State official visit in over forty years, and Booom! Two ships apparently carrying “Japan-related cargo”, according to Japan’s Trade Ministry were torpedoed. grin

Tell me, why would Iran decide to attack two “Japan-related” tankers while the Japanese head of state is in their country? grin

Ofcourse!…....The Iranian government is so damned stupid that precisely when everything is ready to attack them they decide to go out and start "sabotaging" tankers to give the necessary excuse. grin

Sure, why wouldn’t the Iranians want to disrupt shipping in the Gulf so that they themselves are unable to move any of their product to customers abroad? grin

Makes as much sense as Assad gassing civilians in Douma, inviting global condemnation and western military attacks, because he has all but won the war against the western terrorist proxies. grin

Next thing we know, Amerika will be wanting to bomb that Iranian Novichok plant in Tehran (whose existence they just made up). grin

OR

Maybe we should ask Cui bono?

To whom might attacks on tankers in the Gulf be a benefit? grin

Iran? Well, only if they really really want the United Snakes of Amerika to attack them, which hardly seems likely.

Or could it be someone else?

The "F.aggot Chosen Children of Yahweh" happy in the knowledge that the hawks in Washington have been itching to start a war with Iran for years and definitely happy to lend a helping hand to get things underway. grin

In other words, the culprits were those that would like Amerika to attack Iran.

Saudi and/or Israel.

It’s hardly rocket science. grin
I remember mentioning one of the major tells of a false flag is the date. Mas killings often coincide with either Satanic or Jewish holidays. Look at the most recent US shootings:

Apart from the overwhelming American commercial and industrial production the Japs were also done in by the sheer firepower of the USMC fire team, based on the BAR a typically excellent John Moses Browning creation, supporting semi auto Garands. This early LMG fired the 30.06 similar to the 7.62 NATO.
The IJA troops had their own Garand, the type 4 but the most common shoulder weapons was the bolt action Arisaka. You need not be a Mensa member to know who'll win a confrontation between two such forces-when you factor in the US air and sea dominance that allowed battleships to salvo 1 ton 16 inch shells onto IJA positions its a wonder they lasted so long.

There are the usual reasons for war:
-natural resources,or those belonging to other people
-money for arms dealers
-letting your cadres get some real time war fighting experience

Also, ancient hidden secret tech! There were tens of thousands of ancient cuneiform tablets discussing vanished technology. From 18.00 mns. Also discusses the Baghdad museum looting.

It makes sense since I've known for a while now that many archaelogists/anthropologists are actually intel agents, may of whom have been caught faking and planting remains.

Putin has offered the Phil's Kilos!

The Philippine government is considering a soft loan offer from Russia for the acquisition of Kilo-class submarines, as it looks to boost the undersea capabilities of the Philippine Navy (PN).
Russia has newly offered the Philippine Government an economic package to support its potential acquisition of submarines, Arsenio Andolong, the chief of public affairs at the Philippine Department of National Defense (DND), told Jane’s on Tuesday.
“This offer was made last week,” said Andolong. “Russia has said that if we require funds [for the submarine procurement] we could opt for a soft loan to be repaid over a period of time. We are considering the offer, nothing has been agreed”.

On the face of it its a WIN-WIN:all their neighbours have subs;the Malaysians have a couple of Scorpenes, the Viets and Chinese have Kilos while the Aussies have the highly rated Collins. Btw,its not just the Peking the Phils' is worried about-there's an ongoing issues with Malaysia over Sabah. The latter grabbed it in the late 60s thanks to Aquinos's treason and it now produces 200k BPD of oil. Also all these countries have true navies of corvettes,OPVs,SSVs and Frigates. Bear in mind the country has an 18000 Km coastline and a total marine area of 270000 km2.
Manila's navy is the least equipped regionally. 2 second hand S Kor Pohangs shown here are currently their most capable hulls with the flagship Gregorio del Pilar a 50 yr old ex USCGS cutter. They're constructing 6 OPVs,though as we speak. These 83 m Austals are frankly more suited for coast guards than true naval duties needing larger hulls for powerful sensors and offensive package.

The Filipino-Australian ship building company, Austal Philippines, was tasked to build the Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) of the Navy.
According to Austal’s website, the OPVs are based on “a proven platform that has demonstrated success operating in tropical environments and conducting border patrol and maritime operations.”
Powered through by over 900 workers, Austal Philippines, the local arm of the world’s largest aluminum shipbuilder, has been building ships predominantly for exports.
Lorenzana said the government had earmarked P30 billion for the six vessels and it was President Duterte who wanted these vessels to come from Cebu.

As things stand,IMO,subs shouldn't be a priority: ideally they'd first beef us their hulls with more corvettes and at least 4 frigates to allow for training/maintenance cycle while developing a workable interoperability doctrine with their subs. At the same time such serious offers come once in a lifetime-nemesis8u,if you were Duterte what would you chose?

Phil case is different , so I am tempted to make an exception

Problem is their government is weak and overall unity is nothing to talk about , it is my personal opinion though.

In any country in Phil's shoes if it really wants to impose deterrence of some sort to its very powerful neighbor and has real time ass being kicked, then getting the subs will make more sense , though operational profiency will take upto 5 years after induction.

Otherwise for any other country your solution is the optimal one.

Also if I'm reading the link properly that figure is strictly the buying price like the aircraft FAC,not incl. maintenance and operation cost which is 16 mn$ yearly for the Improved Project 636-or 50 mn annually for 3 or 250 mn$ to acquire tactical operational efficiency.
