On what basis have you jumped to the conclusion that Yoruba elite have abandoned Sowore? Aren't Soyinka, Odumakin, etc, part of said elite?

It's still early days to say one way or the other, but any reticence presently on the part of the Yoruba elite you want to accuse of abandoning Sowore (as opposed to the Igbo elite you mentioned that spoke up for Mazi Kanu) can be explained by partisan-politics! Check the predominant political parties in the s-w and s-e respectively, and it will help explain a bit of the reticence in the s-w, as opposed to the active support given in the s-e.

Why do you people see things in this light. Igbos to the best of my knowldge are not concdrned with the so called revolution.Everybody knows the way things are in nigeria today and it has nothing to do with igbo, hausa or yoruba.
