revolution were never peaceful in any manner you want to describe it. if you were the president, will you fold your hand and wait for somebody who threatened to throw your government. i guess you will not. sowore should have chose a better words for his protest. revolution has only one meaning in dictionary which is violent change.

Don't be deceived by the write up. This is what politicians do in a backward country like Nigeria to sway the masses. They will try to paint the political scene as though it is a war situation. Two things are responsible for this state of affairs.The first thing is that Nigerians no longer believe in the lies they often hear from their politicians, hence ,the need for aspiring politicians to engage in verbal religious and tribal wars to control the masses. The second thing is the eternal battle for Nigerian oil. U should know that whoever controls access to Nigerian petroleum controls the nation. The politicians are scrambling for the control of oil because it will enable them dispense patronage and enrich themselves to the teeth. In the cause of this they will have you believe that their struggle is ordained by God to appeal to the religious sentiments of their followers. So my friend there is nothing that is happening in Nigeria that has not happened, or for that matter, that will not happen in the future. It is just the scramble for oil wealth.
