Bid rejected although Everton could go back with an improve offer. As an Arsenal fan, if we can secure Coutinho then Iwobi can leave

Mumu Player? Zaha? Boss, How na?... Didn't you watch EPL last season or 2 seasons ago?... Zaha will make an already decent Arsenal attack very deadly... deadlier than Man City and Liverpool. You can take these words to the bank.

Personally think a loan move away to a lesser team in EPL/team in Europe, that will let him play as a CAM only is best for Iwobi. With Ceballos, Ozil and IF Coutinho happens he'll only be played as a winger and it's very clear he doesn't want to play/doesn't suit him out wide.

Chief, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, let me reiterate this fact: Most players today are so insanely over-priced, it's abominable.

Under normal circumstances, who would buy:

Van Dijk for over 70 million?
Mbappe for over 100 million?
Wan Bissaka for over 50 million?
Pepe for over 70 million?
Pogba for over 90 million?
Lukaku for over 70 million? (Wtf?)
J. Felix for over 100 million?
Maguire for over 75 million? (Like seriously?)
etc..etc...

So, it is a rotten system of unreasonable player and agent power... Football is DOOMED!!! undecided

That is a career ending move. Everton is not a stable club. It has no philosophy. It hires managers of every kind of technical persuasion in world football and brings in mismatched players that do not seek to build stable careers at the club rather see it as an escape from stalled careers or stepping stones to better things.

The long and short of it is that he is unlikely to learn anything new there and his prospects after will significantly depreciate. If he really wants a genuine upward career move he should leave England for a tier 1 club in any of the top six leagues (portugal and Holland included). They can afford his relatively small transfer fee and comparatively small wage demand. Or else stay at Arsenal until his contract ends and he makes a free choice.

Everton is uncompleted tunnel works.

Lol

No..he won't get one kobo from the sale

Arsenal owns him, like a property..so they sell him as they deem fit..however some top players can negotiate with a club before signing a contract to have some small percentage in sales deals...its all about your manager, his negotiation skills, player value (ronaldo, messi,nemar)..thesr are players who because of thier status have an upper hand to negotiate contract...its all business

As for our darling iwobi, most likely one kobo wont enter his pocket (depends on his contract signed)..but i doubt he would get a penny..

Hes on 60k per week at arsrnal
What everton will do for him is increase his salary ....also he can scatter every thing, ie even if arsenal accept to sell him, and hea refuses to go...nothing arsenal can do..clear?

All of you saying iwboi shouldn't move...i dont understand you loot
Since last year many foreign arsenal fans have grown to hate iwobi ( which is stupid by the way)

He moving will make perfect sense for him, at least he will have peace of mind and be played centrally not as a winger..also with the arrival of pepe hus game time will be limited...so it makes sense, he will play more at Everton and improve there..am for him moving biko...nothing beats peace of mind and more money

Sure, there's an incredible sharp increase in players worth and wages but trust me, it's largely because Football teams are also raking in a lot of endorsements and profits as well...that's the only rational reason these teams are willing to cough out massive chunks to secure signings and remain atop!

You are wrong. There are many types of contracts out there and depending on the circumstance the pkayer can get anythng from zero to 100 percemt of the transfer fee in theory. Heck, haven't you heard players buy out their own contracts and make themselves free agents.

I will liken player transfer to a second car sale between two parties as against car trades on shop floors. I can either buy a car 'as it is', the owner can upgrade the car and then sell or the owner may offer a discount for necessary fixes. In all the seller does not get all the money but uses part of it to upgrade the car to the buyers standard.

If a club badly wants to offload a player say for financial reasons and is not able to find a buyer and the players agent is able to do so, the club may be willing to let go of part of the value as compensation to the player or agent for doing their job for them. There are very many circumstances players and agents get all sorts of percentages of the transfer fee.

The first Nigerian player to get a cut off his transfer fee was Richard Owubokiri when he moved from Amadora ro Boavista I think.
