"Growing up in Nigeria, i saw real poverty, I experienced it, living without electricity, doing my homework by candle light because the state electricity board couldn't provide power, fetching water from borehole a mile away in heavy rusty buckets, because the the national **** couldn't get water out of the taps,

Was that still Buhari?

Nigeria is still in 1876, cattle's roaming everywhere While Europe is in 2045 electric cars everywhere

Honestly, if you look at how divided we are in Africa
Too many Tribes and Ethnic Separation make you understand why there is so much evil and no progress
The Black race were still stuck in primitive lifestyle and tradition while other races are exploring the world.. Look at all the gadgets cars technology all invented by the Caucasians and Asians but what has African race achievedhuh
Even the slave masters were well equipped with their own technology like cars, guns while the Black race was still living in MUDHOUSE!!! The most STAGNANT LOW IQ RACE is the black race. What we contributed to the worldhuh? The whites gave Black race independence, government, schools and Christianity.. They were so sophisticated white people and you have traditional over religious black people..
..
You are wrong in that. Very recently I was late for work because rail was delayed by cattle crossing rail lines in UK.

No...you have neither lived nor worked in UK so you dont know what you are saying.

And your living in UAE i know you had a visa and prolly worked for like six months and not a resident permit.

You still dont know what you are saying.

I will drop this arguement because it does not bring money for me. But you will be shaped by those who you intetact with.

I look around me at my Nigerian friends and colleauges who work with Microsoft, Raytheon, Delloite, Verizon, Kaiser Permanante and so on and so forth who left Nigeria as adults after completing their bachelors degree in Nigeria and are doing great now.

Because of this i know you are talking bull****
If your friends and family are content with doing shittu jobs in UK and you think that is the same story for many people, then you are simply deluded.

You are in denial. People like you only continue arguing blindly. You feel you must stick to your opinion just because you don't want to admit you were wrong initially.

I wish most Nigerians can live in the western world briefly and experience what life can be like. They won't need a Sowore to encourage them to revolt.

You think powering your home with a generator is the height of good living? Same generator which has killed hundreds of Nigerians due to fumes?

I saw where you were arguing that Nigeria can't have stable power supply because the western countries won't give them permission to develop nuclear power.

I can't laugh abeg.

First, who gave Iran, North Korea, India and China permission?

Second, who told you that nuclear power is the way Nigeria should generate electricity? The other African countries that have 24/7 electricity, how much nuclear energy are they producing?

Nigeria lies very close to the equator. Do you know what that means? That means Nigeria gets more sunlight for most part of the year than even the western world or other parts that are in the southern or northern hemisphere of the globe.

Yet Nigeria can't harness solar power to power the whole of Africa. We only know how to give silly excuses for our incompetent moribund leaders who have become an embarrassment to themselves and the country they pretend to lead.

How about using wind to generate electricity? Go to the oil reserves offshore and see how Nigeria is flaring its gas that can be used to generate unquantifiable electricity.

Do you know why Nigerians are running to the UK and Canada and Australia? Because those places have provided a conducive environment for human life to thrive. Unlike Nigeria where life is very cheap and can be lost at any given time without consequences.

You can keep denying the facts but read my lips, Nigeria is a monumental _shitpile of a country.
That it had to be me to give likes and shares to this post, shows once again that Nigeria is fuxked. For this same thread wey mumu post they get like 10 likes...issokay

africans rubishing africa, fools would instantly think with their inferiority complex mindset thinking london, UK is heaven and Lagos, Nigeria is hell
Little fact check
*Europeans pay more on rent and you can basically slave your asses off like donkeys just not to be homeless
*Only shitty jobs are reserved for africans
*cost of electricity per week can afford you enough petrol to fuel your own generating set 24/7 in a nigerian home
*Whites intentionally stoped and scare us with sanctions if we try to go nuclear or use coal for power generation
black fools would only learn after ending up in prisons all over the world, because people like this uk politicians told them the good side and avoided the horrible side
..
Mr Comparator, did it remotely occur to you that our monthly minimum wage is less than than their daily minimum wage? Ignorance is bliss indeed.

Re: What Olukemi Badenoch Said About Nigeria In 2017 (Throwback) by Kolping: 1:41pm On Aug 08, 2019
This woman is being economical with the truth about her upbringing in Nigeria. She was not brought up in a poor family. She has also obviously leveraged her husband and his family connections to rise in UK politics.

Kemi Badenoch grew up in Nigeria and the United States of America before returning to England as a teenager. She was born to a father who is a medical doctor who owns/owned a hospital in Lagos and a mother who is an academic, now a Professor of Physiology at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and former President of the The Endocrine and Metabolism Society of Nigeria (EMSON) - Olufeyisipe Adefunke Adegoke.

Kemi met her husband at their local Conservative association in 2005. She married Hamish Badenoch in 2012, an English man whose family is in the British peerage and who works for Deutsche Bank. Until recently he was a Conservative councillor in the London Borough of Merton. He is the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Global Markets UK, Deutsche Bank, London.

H100:
As all eyes beam on 39-year-old Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke Badenoch, the only woman of African Origin appointed into the Cabinet of British new PM Boris Johnson is  the UK's Minister for Children & Families.

NB: The MP for Saffron Walden made her maiden speech in the House of Commons on 19th July 2017

She has raised the argument that a Nigerian Woman in the UK may stand a better chance of becoming their Prime Minister than becoming Governor or President in Nigeria.

In this one minute trending clip cropped off Kemi Badenoch’s maiden speech in the Commons,

"as it affects Nigeria" she said

"Growing up in Nigeria, i saw real poverty, I experienced it, living without electricity, doing my homework by candle light because the state electricity board couldn't provide power, fetching water from borehole a mile away in heavy rusty buckets, because the the national **** couldn't get water out of the taps, listen to complete emotional and inspiring speech on video

Meanwhile, there's also a debate on not toeing an infamous path as Ms Fiona Onasanya, the former MP Peterbrough who together with her brother lied to the police on driving offence which landed the brother in prison and she eventually lost the by election in her constituency and of course her status as MP and struck off as solicitor too

Badmouth? My guy, Nigeria does not need badmouthing, it's plain for all to see.
"Nigeria is sh1t", is the same thing as saying "the sky is blue". An incontrovertible fact.

No public running water in 21st century for Christ sake. I experienced it in my childhood, in my youth, and now in my adulthood. When Fela sang in 1981 "na 1990, them go give us water", as a child I imagined it would be true. 1990 came and things were worse. This is 2019 and we have people still walking to go and fetch water. Everyone has sunk boreholes, can't really drink water out of the tap - that is if there was light to pump water.

Madam Minister, Nigeria laid the foundation for your achievements...
Perhaps if you grew up in the UK, will take life for granted and drop out of school.

Whatever we become is built upon ALL of our life experiences...
And it’s NOT happenstance that Nigerians in the UK on the average outperform the population.
