The Nigerian Police Force has released the names of its officers killed during the cross fire with men of the Nigerian Army on Tuesday August 6th. The slain officers have been identified as Sergeant Usman Danzumi, Inspector Mark Ediale and Sergeant Dahiru Musa.

The police officers were killed by men of the Nigerian Army who claim they mistook them for kidnappers. The officers had arrested a notorious kidnapper, Alhaji Hamisu Bala, and were taking him to the station when the soldiers engaged them in a crossfire. Hamisu who was in handcuffs, later escaped.

In a post shared on Twitter, the Nigerian Police described the slain officers as Gallant men who were part of the team that arrested a number of notorious criminals, one of which is the notorious kidnapper Evans who was arrested in Lagos in June 2017.

"WILL BE FOREVER REMEMBERED" IS THE HEADING OF THEIR DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT JUST TO MAKE IT LOOK EMOTIONAL.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA, THE ARMY, THE NPF... NONE CARES ABOUT THE DEATH OF EVEN 50MILLION NIGERIANS.

THEY'LL JUST SIT ON THIS NEWS, SHARE MONEY AND GO THEIR WAYS.

OUR SOLDIERS ARE ONLY BEING TRAINED TO BE LESS THAN ZOO ANIMALS.

IF NOT, WHY WOULD YOU GO ON A RESCUE CAMPAIGN AND END UP OPENING FIRE AT THE VEHICLE CONTAINING THE VICTIMS?

WHAT IF YOU SUCCEEDED IN KILLING THE KIDNAPPERS, AND THE KIDNAPPED?

DON'T FORGET, THE CIVILIAN THAT WAS KILLED IN THIS PROCESS HAVE BEEN SWEPT UNDER THE MAT. MAYBE NEXT TIME, IT WILL BE 10 CIVILIANS. OR 1,000.

A very useless country we find ourselves in

A country where it's army can conveniently kill it's policemen and still justify it

Tomorrow, when mushroom African countries start treating us like trash, we will feel insulted

It was a friendly fire.

When the Nigerian Army ask you to stop, stop! Don't say, "I am a policeman! I am also carrying a gun, I am also a skilled force man".
Stop and park so that you will live to collect Roger and harass innocent protesters another day.
at least when we the youth are driving, you ask us to park and we obey.

It's not really convenient to pull a trigger, you have to go through a tough process.
1. Identify
2. Analyze
3. Be sure
4. Aim
5. Aim for the head
6. Squeeze the trigger firmly.
My point is, soldiers can't conveniently aim for the head.
