Try this out calculate the area of the blue region

NB: When using a calculator to evaluate 9Sin^-1(-0.6), angle must be in radians.

There are two ways.
1) Press the report button and click 8 in the space provided. Just recently, unlike before, if you use this method too much, the bot will ban you.
2) Click the modify button, erase your post, type a full stop and submit.

I believe the problem can also be bashed through coordinate geometry and some calculus.

Tried to explain the best I could but kept the length of my solution in mind. Also did not state overly basic facts/formulas as they are assumed to be well known by the reader.

That was the first way of solving it that came to my mind but I don't know calculus so...

Area B is the segment inside a sector,so it is only a triangle and segment that are present in a sector, besides the area A is not present in area B,

My target angle is the angle subtended at the center.
Since I have the base angle which is alternate to arctan0.5
So the base angles will be 2arctan0.5
Thus angle subtended at center to form that sector is 180-2arctan0.5
