Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have killed a shop owner in Ijegun area of Lagos.

Biliki was hit by a bullet on Saturday after the policemen fired at a suspect who was on the run.

Igbere TV gathers that the shop owner was hit while in her store which is on a street close to the Oba’s palace.

One of the SARS operatives was immediately mobbed by irate residents.

Biliki was said to have died in a hospital.

Lagos police spokesman, Bala Elkana, has not made a statement on the incident.

First do you just open fire on a suspect ?
Was the suspect armed ?
Was the suspect firing at you ?
When you open fire do you have a clear shot at the Target ?
What kind of weapon are you holding ?
Is it a precision weapon ?

I mean you cant be firing an AK47 or a pump action and expect to hit just a target na.. there must be strays.

This is Nigeria set your affairs in order anything fit kill you anytime if no be police brutality na police stray bullet or na herds men or na even container fall on your car, we never even talk about hunger o.

The police is first to cry out when their own is killed by soldiers.. civilians should be allowed to defend themselves because these people don have their interest at heart.

I shake my head for Nigeria . A woman left her house this morning to go fend for her family, only to end up dead. And the sad part is that she will just be counted among the numbers of that that have been killed by these same SARS and nothin will be done about it.
