so, these teams did not improve last season?

Tottenham did not improve. Every one knows that. They were clearly the 3rd best team in England last season but derailed. They have now added to that team so they will hold unto their 3rd best tag and possibly fight for 2nd or 1st. United have improved their defence. They are still hollow in midfield. Arsenal's attack and midfield is improved, their defence is iffy. City and LFC are in a different world. Of the top 6 teams, only CFC undeniably regressed. There are no goals around that team and alot of the youngins will be inconsistent.

You can mark my post. Ceteris Paribus, CFC won't finish higher than 6th.

Baba.on the issue of jazz,ur logic is 100% whack and flawed. Cos u can't build something on nothing.

U are a Christian that believes in the Bible and the existence of God but doesn't believe in voodoo or witchcraft recorded in the Bible.. does it make any sense? ?

Chelsea received a two-window transfer ban from FIFA for breaches relating to international transfers and registration of players under the age of 18. The Blues were also fined more than £460,000.
In a shocking development, Premier League rivals Manchester City have escaped being banned by FIFA despite being found guilty for breaches relating to international transfers and registration of players under the age of 18.
To make matters even worse, Manchester City were fined just £315,000, around £150,000 less than the fine Chelsea received.
FIFA said in a statement: “The Fifa disciplinary committee has sanctioned English club Manchester City FC for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18.
“Manchester City FC was found to have breached, among others, article 19 of the Fifa Regulations on the status and transfer of players.
“The disciplinary committee took into account the fact that Manchester City FC accepted its responsibility and sanctioned the club with a fine of CHF 370,000 (£315,000).”
It’s a shame Chelsea were banned from signing players for two transfer windows and also received a higher fine than Manchester City for a similar rule breach.

Chelsea signed 29 players while city only signed 8 players in the process of breaching the rules.

Man city also stated the breach occurred before December 2016 when the rule for guidance on the breaches was released. Man city was also cooperative during investigations( you should know that normally an accused who doesn't waste the time of the court in trying to establish a case against him and declaring him guilty will definitely get a lower sentence compared to the one who wastes the time of the judge and prosecution)

That being said, I think the author of this article just deliberately doesn't want to investigate, he just wrote what was on his mind and nothing else. He could've gone a step further to establish the fact whether Chelsea was cooperative same way city was and then make a case for partiality on the part of fifa by not giving a fair decision; but no he didn't.

City pleaded guilty and took responsibility of their wrong doing, while Chelsea were claiming saint and took the case to court, in the process of every every, they were later found to be guilty....

that's the difference..

Did a third grader write this?
Tottenham were clearly the 3rd best team but eventually finished 4th. Is that how to analyze football?
When Chelsea surrendered 2nd place in January 2nd, 2018 and ended up 5th, why were they not termed the runners up before they derailed?
I somehow agree with your prediction that Man city, Liverpool and Tottenham are the front runners for the league but anything can happen midway through the season.
P:S : if you're a Chelsea fan thinking about tonight's match. Just forge it, we have lost before the ball is kicked and I don't See Lampard lasting till December before he gets the boot.

Don't be so quick to write us off. Add Kante, Rudiger, Willian, Batshuayi and maybe Reece James to that team and you have something entirely different. Arsenal and United are playing in the Europa too. Suspensions and injuries will play their part. Let's wait till December at least.

Effect of having a splendid transfer window and having a good Squad compared to previous seasons. The only thing that will derail our season will be injuries.
