somehow:Senegal's biggest advantage over us this time is being the host.... If we meet at a neutral venue bro we will beat them. forget the ranking. These girls have improved a lot since Otis took over... |

| Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by Blues00: 9:43pm On Aug 14, 2019 |
Danielnino00:Ive noticed that the team has improved mostly it’s defensive shape. Compared with the 2015 and 2017 tournaments, the ladies are better organized when defending |
| Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by PDPGuy(op): 9:55pm On Aug 14, 2019 |
After two games, D’Tigress conceded only 65 points, and have conceded the fewest points in the group stage. If this was 2017 or 2015, they would have conceded 90+ points in two games. So, I will give coach Otis credit in that area |

I’m addition to qualifying for the semifinals, D’Tigress have also advanced to the Olympic pre-qualifying tournament. The Olympic prequalifying tournament will feature the top 6 Afrobasket teams. Then, the top 2 teams in the prequalifying tournament advance to the Olympic qualifying tournament, which will feature 4 groups of 3 teams. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the Olympics. |

| Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by somehow: 3:57pm On Aug 15, 2019 |
We are recording enough points and conceding less but we are struggling behind the arc. Can the coach work on our 3 pointers? To take on the world, you must know how to hit from the arc in case you meet a better defensive side. |
