I think something is wrong somewhere with our unnecessary attacks on Joe.

If Joe says he is not an igbo man , I didn't see anything wrong in that because it was never Joe Igbokwe before but Joe Yorubakwe from Ikorodu Lagos State.

Recently he was appointed a commissioner in Lagos state and I enjoin others natives in diaspora to congratulate him on this achievement.

He must work for the future and empowerment of his people (Yorubas). The youth we know are the most vulnerable and he should ensure whatever office he occupies, he should make sure their affairs come first and most importantly create employment to capture the graduates on the street.

Congratulations Mr Joe Olanike Olaniyi Yorubakwe.

Go and serve with fear of God.

Unfortunately for you and bigoted ilk, yorubas don't really give a damn what yoruba names means in ibo. And why should they?

Joe Yorubakwe should be grateful to Lugard for coming from Britain to tell him that his ethnic group is "Nigerian", a slave name that was coined from a common river

It is just a matter of perception.

What you perceive as anger is nothing but a fact- we yorubas don't worry our heads about you hate-filled ingrates and your impish trait.

We just don't care how you ibos perceive us as it adds not an iota of value to our lives and future.
