Rather, other countries dont intimidate their citizens/residents. Given the same liberty and value for human right, Nigerians in Nigeria can/will do worst.
Politicians should watch their back because boys are not smiling.

[quote author=Nkemakonam62 post=81417917]Following the attack on the deputy senate president, Dr Ike Ekweremadu, by the proscribed People of Biafra, IPOB, the social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs Lauretta Onochie on Monday said that Ekweremadu’s attack has shown how safe Nigeria is compared to other countries.

Disclosing this via her verified tweeter handle, Onochie averred that, “Some people have become endangered species for the failed promise of breaking up Nigeria. Another evidence that Nigeria is safer than elsewhere for some people. A few days ago, we heard from Elzakzaky what we already knew, that Nigeria is better than some places.

Mrs. Onochie is right. Nigeria is more safe for Thief Thief politicians than abroad, but not safe for a common man/ ordinary citizens.

Number of gun killings in America is more than number of Boko Haram and herdsmen attacks in Nigeria. Dont just argue, ask Google.

Except for the small fact that Americans have the constitutional right to have and own guns but neither Boko haram nor herdsmen have that right

Dont bring America into this, America has given its citizens the right to bear arms and that is their problem whatever killings comes from it

But in Nigeria where herdsmen are killing people with guns they have no right to have, not only has government refused to disarm them, they will get Ruga

very well put, Some nigerians are too Ignorant to recognise that Nigeria is a Dangerous place, perhaps because the Violence and destructions haven't reached their Area yet.

They are on here comparing murders in America with Nigeria's. Even if there are more murder in America, should Nigerians wait until the murders in Nigeria gets to America's murder level?
Re: Lauretta Onochie: Ekweremadu’s Attack, Evidence Nigeria Safer Than Other Places by Reference(m): 8:59am On Aug 20, 2019
That's the truth. The citizens are just too ignorant and docile to have such 'dangerous societies' . They rather crawl under a rock and die or jump off a bridge while their oppressors cruise by in their armoured limousines without even a cursory glance.

She is absolutely correct. Nigeria is made this way by her citizens, by the so called common man. Just reading the responses so far... few are logical, some are supportive, others are just comedic.... there is no consensus on how this country can move forward. Nobody seems know or care.... that is why it is safe for everything wrong, disorderly and despicable.

I bet she can stand in any market place and say this with a megaphone and nothing will happen. The onlookers will rather fight each other while she looks on.

Wolves are usually safe in the midst of sheep... Most Nigerians are mentally timid and caged by ethnic stupidity...

The day Nigerians unite in their suffering and wake up to their rights, even Onochie will not be safe in her castle...

We just haven't gotten to the limit of our suffering... At least the smiling part has greatly diminished since Buhari came in... There might yet be hope for the much overdue revolution.

Divisions have existed in the DNA of the black man since biblical times. The whites read their scriptures well, knew this and so it was easy to lead us off in chains to cultivate sugarcane in the West Indies and build the empires we see today. Why it still persists 50 years after independence and a hundred years after slavery iis a modern day mystery.

No ten black men agree on anything, no five Africans can form a consensus on development, no three Nigerians can locate the exit in a bright , well lit room. Its that bad.

Well, I'm not quite sure I fully agree with your last paragraph...

If the blacks in America didn't unite, apartheid would have lasted longer than it did... South Africa is another case in point.

Nigeria's case is both peculiar and pathetic... Maybe we were never meant to be yoked together as an entity.
