The residents of Buzugbe street, Ika North East Local Government Area, of Delta State, Nigeria has called on the government to come to their aid as their street has now become death trap.

Buzugbe street is located at the heart of the town of the governor's local government, and has long been abandoned by the previous and current government of the State.

Investigation by the team of our reporters revealed that many houses in the area have been collapsing as members and landlords of some of the houses are already taking their leave and are becoming tenants of other landlords.

Interacting with Mrs Osike, one of the Victims by Delta Igoruh media Team revealed that, many of the residents have already left their houses while some landlords are now tenant.

In her words, "I weep as I speak with you that I now look for where to sleep with my children. My husband died long time ago, and the place where my husband left for me and children has now been taken away by flood. It is sad".

"It is painful that Landlords and Landladies are now becoming in another peoples house. We are calling on the government to come to our rescue. We have suffered enough".

Mrs. Osike Victoria is a retiree from the Delta State Post Primary Education Board and a mother of Five and the landlady of No, Buzugbe Street, Owa, Delta State, Nigeria.

The relevant agencies should as a matter of urgency evacuate the occupant of this houses, the Nigerians I know would have faith that "it shall never be my portion" and continue residing there with innocent kids. This is scary.

When Elrufai was demolishing houses in abuja, people thought he was a devil that just wants to hurt people.

This would have been the result in abuja if he hadn't taken such steps.
This house was clearly built on a water way and water isn't something you can just stop from flowing.

Anyways, if the residents still want their house back, all they need to do is take the following steps:

1. Make an underpinning for the building . I.e a fresh foundation

2. Construct a retaining wall against the building

3. And most importantly, create a new water channel to divert the water.

For those who is against what the igbos in Germany did to senator Ike ekweremadu, let me tell guys something, if Nigeria politicians is doing good like other countries, nobody will be fighting or demanding for break up, it's only in Nigeria that I see where citizens hustle to build house, buy car in cash, food stuffs are very costly, people hardly feed three square meal a day.

Let me leave Qatar,let me use Algeria as example as African country because I have lived in Algeria before, in Algeria, all the skyscrapers all over the country is built by the Algerian government, well furnished, with Water, gas, 24 hours light, not individuals, you hardly see a building from 5 building down, the only place you find from 5 story building down, is out of the city, house rent as Algerian citizen or resident holder, is 2,500 dinars which is 5000 naira, once you rent the apartment, and pay for the rent, for complete 10 years, the government will hand over the documents to you, as the rightful owner of the apartment, no more paying for rent again, all the roads are tiled up, 24 hours light, street lights all over with CCTV cameras all over the streets, with 1000 dinars which is 2000 naira, your pot of soup or stew is ready, with your rice or whatever you want, education system, from nursery to university level free with monthly allowance, no importation of fairly used car, if you go against the law and import fairly used car, prison is your home for complete 5 years, once you have something doing that's giving income, you are free to go to and buy a car on high purchase, and be paying for it,

Again, if the government give you contract, and you didn't meet up with the date they want it to be done, you are going to prison, no two ways about it, but before they give you contract, you must summit your passport to court, 90% of what the country is using is made in Algeria, if Nigeria is like Algeria, I bet you, nobody will be fighting or demanding for break up, a lot of us wouldn't have traveled outside country, so what they did to Ike ekweremadu is for Nigerian politicians to step up and start doing the right thing
