This is big.

We don't kill them in 65% of villages here in Anambra, they're pretty harmless creatures.

Killing a 8 feet cobra could be more bravery.

So he should go into the bush searching for dangerous reptiles just because he wants to prove a point to you? Besides, who told you python ain't harmless because it can't bite? A python curled around its prey, (human being inclusive) is just like a cold steel. This one on his neck can comfortably constrict an adult for onward consumption as food.
