Governor Ugwuanyi Directs Police to Fish Out Killers of Pregnant Woman in Nchatancha

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has condemned the killing of a woman by hoodlums in Nchatancha community in Emene, Enugu East Local Government Area, Igbere TV reports.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Thursday by Secretary to Enugu State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, Gov. Ugwuanyi condoled with the family of the deceased and charged the security agencies to commence a full scale investigation into the unfortunate incident with a view to apprehending and prosecuting the culprits.

The statement reads,

"The Enugu State Government condemns in its entirety the alleged murder of a woman in a farmland at Nchatancha community in Emene, Enugu East Local Government Area."

"We condole with the family of the deceased and hereby charge the security agencies to commence a full scale investigation into the unfortunate incident with a view to apprehending and prosecuting the culprits."
