These names sound Japanese. I am 100% certain these people are remote ancestors of the Japanese.

In Ibibio
1.Uyai means beauty.

2. Ekanem in expanded form is eka anem,
meaning mother is sweet or good.

3. Andikan means he who wins.

4. Nkoyo means literally "I have wondered and prevailed or "I have Waka" lol, It is usually given to a child on account of the mother's suffering while wondering about in search of a child. So when the child comes, the child could be named "Nkoyo" meaning "I wondered about until I had this child"

5. Ekong means "war". A child born out of a tussle or war. It symbolizes victory and conquering.

6. Essien means in the open land, space or lineage Of the people or place where the person is given birth to. It is given to someone to showcase that he is of a pure stalk of the place where he hails from.

7. Daraima simply means rejoice for love.

8. Ukeme means ability, capability or competence.

9. Idara means joy.

10. Tima or Toyoima means remember love.

11. Unwana means light.

I stand to be corrected though. My dad and mum are custodians of Ibibio language. I teach Ibibio.

This is absolutely incorrect, Efik tribe do not answer to the names listed and there is no tribe in Nigeria called Efik/ Ibibio.
Efik, Efut and Qua's are the indigenous tribe of Calabar, Cross River State.
Ibibio's are indigenous tribe of Uyo in Anwar Iboku State. Both have different cultures and tradition but recently, Ibibio's have been he'll bent on copying Efik tradition, culture and names and don't answer such names as Sunday, Thursday, Friday.

Copying which useless Efik cultures or you mean answering names like Ironbar, Henshaw, Duke that the British reserved for Africans
You really must be high on weed
