This will only benefit a few leagues in world football if we're being frank.

Change is supposed to be slow, meticulous and methodical. Football is just getting adjusted to VAR and it numerous issues, introducing VAR/ Robots for linesmen will only complicate the game even more and turn off fans. I know they are trying to stay trendy and appeal to younger generation fans but it needs to be gradual.

From referee's final decision to VAR, now this! Very soon, there'll be robot refs. Football would become too technical, too precise. Open plays won't take too long anymore, a slight contact would be registered as a foul. The game would ultimately become uninteresting. Make them no try am.

It’s gradually happening a period where AI,robotic will take away jobs meant for humans. Robots will do menial works like cleaning, laundry etc. People will become jobless and crime rates will increase.welcome to the future!!

Now we are going to get a robotic lineman who would trace the if the hair on your arm is offside or not.
