Why Sultan Of Sokoto Is Important To Nigeria – Gbajabiamila

Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has felicitated with the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III as he marks his 63rd birthday anniversary.
The leader of the green chamber of the National Assembly said the monarch was a key figure in Nigeria because he promotes peace.
He said the Sultan has been providing good leadership not just for the Muslim Ummah but for the country at large since his ascendance to the exalted seat of the Sultan of Sokoto.
Gbajabiamila said the Sultan, who doubles as the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), the leader of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the co-chairman of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC), is indeed an embodiment of peace for all Nigerians.
“I wish to therefore use this medium to heartily congratulate His Eminence as he marks his 63 birthday.
“As a leader, the Sultan has been up and doing and has never failed Nigerians in any way.
“It is to his credit that he is known as someone who is constantly working towards peaceful coexistence among Nigerians everywhere,” the Speaker said.
Gbajabiamila prayed Allah Almighty to continue to grant the Sultan good health and wisdom for him to carry on with his good leadership in the country.

I have a question for all Southern Muslims. Why are so accepting of the fact that the Sultan of Sokoto is always the head of all Muslims in Nigeria? Does this not automatically make southern Muslims second class muslims, as shown by the fact that a southern Imam cant officiate in a northern mosque?

The kind of power this man posses ehn hmm.

This is somebody that can just pick up his phone and call Buhari and tell him I want this and this.

This man single handedly declared an additional public holiday sometime in 2016 to mark the Eid Kabir holiday when they couldn't see the moon earlier. The thing I like the most about him is you don't get to see him being partisan like Sanusi, but he's so, so influencial.

Am such a massive fan of his.

But his lineage is the cause of the backwardness in this country. How? They brought Islam! Islam is backwardness. Not the rubbish Islam practiced in the south oo, the real Islam practiced by hausas in the north. Because southern Muslims are infidels according to the northern Muslims.
