One interesting thing about this interview is that most of the vociferous youths who, today, criticize and call Joe Igbokwe names on the social media, were not even yet existing as sperm when he gave this interview in favour of Igbo cause.

Lol. This is exactly what some Yorubas want the Igbos to become in Nigeria. To be so subservient that we would queue behind them as they bow before the fulani terrorists. Unfortunately for them, Igbos by creation were not wired like that. We are hard set to refuse and resist subjugation; it is incompatible with our being. See Joe Igbokwe speaking from the core of his being unlike today. It is true that some will fall away as the frustration rises but millions of others will rise to resist it. We're just too big for the domination Nigeria planned against us. We're suffering at present and still fighting it. Some day, we shall get it right with an ally that will neutralize the back up Nigeria has. That day hell will let loose. I won't care about ICJ will say of my actions. For every killings my people have suffered in Nigeria shall be tripled against our foes. All the rapings and arson. Well, let time roll by as we prepare ourselves. It shall never remain like this forever.

You tribaliststs never cease to amuse and amaze me.
Where did the Yorubas gathered to meet and declared that Igbos should do anything, let alone bow to Fulanis or anybody?

Who is bowing to any Fulanis now? If Yorubas want Igbos to bow to some imaginary Fulanis, what did the Nupe, Tiv,Bini, Kanuris, Ijaw, Ogoni, Jukuns or Igala plan for the Igbos?

There are over 200 tribes in Nigeria, why are you fixated on what Yorubas plan, think or do?..these constant outbursts about the Yorubas is portraying with deep seated inferiority complex

Yorubas against Igbos? That's the figments of your imagination.
In Nigeria, no tribe is actually against any tribe but each tribe is looking for how to advance it's interests.

Is Joe Igbokwe contesting for the Presidency? How do you support someone who is NOT
contesting for the Presidency?

Many Igbos are saying they are not contesting, some say they want Biafra by 2023 but most Igbo commentators online seem to be pre-occuppied by how to stop Tinubu2023 or any Southwest 2023 project.

You notice how they open thread tagging Nnamdi Kanu next to Fela and Sowore? They know deep in their hearts that Nnamdi kanu has done so much beyond what Fela and Sowore did. But envy will not let them accept it. They work everyday to bring him and IPOB down out of envy, and when they realize they can't or is not working, they speak from the other side of their mouth by tagging him ONLY under Fela and Sowore....to present the image that their own Fela and Sowore are the trailblazers. These people are something else!

Contesting for the Presidency of any Country is a SERIOUS business.

Posting your pictures on social media with the capture 'Behold your next president' is not the same as running for the Presidency of a complex Country like Nigeria.

What exactly do you mean by 'it is the turn of the Igbos'? Do you mean, there should be no election in 2023 but an Igboman should be picked and sworn-in as president or if there will be an election, non-Igbo Nigerians must not contest? Please enlighten us on this claim sir.

Firstly, I'm not a tribalist and will never be. I've spent considerable time in the three major regions in Nigeria and understand the languages there. My submission is based on live experiences I encountered during my stay and other inferences from various exchanges both on and offline. That majority of Yorubas want Igbos to just feel satisfied with the demeaning position they were forced into is not contestable.
Secondly, why is it only Igbos you guys always use this phrase for "respect your host". Why do you guys kick against Ezendigbo in your province but have your own obas in other regions and keep mum with the Hausas having 'Sarki' in your various domain?
Thirdly, it's your people that are in the forefront of kicking against establishing anything that will stimulate economic development in the Eastern region while turning around to ask easterners to leave your region. Talk about the media war waged against us from over two decades that I can count and it's still raging.
Finally, it baffles me how you of all people will tag Igbos with inferiority complex against Yorubas. I won't want to mock Yorubas but the truth is obvious before everyone. Is it in the average looks of both people or in their physique? Is it in their cuisine and value systems? Or is it in their intellect and ingenuity? I will certainly not deny Yorubas of their achievements. They are one of the best Africa has to offer when it comes to achievement but so are the Igbos. Countless threads have been discussed here to buttress these achievements so I'll skip it. But for other areas, leave it my guy. Igbos have no one to feel inferior to in Nigeria and the world over. If their are any group of people that have so impressed us to warrant having such a feeling, it should be the Europeans. But alas, we don't even feel inferior before them. We acknowledge their cerebral exploits and captured it in this statement: 'bekee bu agbara'. It loosely translates to; the European is an idol (not to be worshipped but) because of the solutions he can prefer which defies what we know. As such we strive to be like them and even better. We don't feel inferior to anyone. Let me stop here for now. Don't ever mention Igbos feeling inferior to Yorubas again. It's an insult!
