It is not an assault on me. Your administrative inefficiencies led to it. Stop this your Pontus Pilatism theory. |

Delay tactics......switching jurisdiction won't change anything. America's judgement will be more severe! |

By the time they will finish the challenge the interest would have increased the size of the award to 14b USD. Like play like play the final award judgment of $6.5b in January 2017 is currently at $9.6b. |

They thought foreign courts are the ones in Nigeria where they rig rulings. See how they lost woefully after their knowledge was put to test, only what they know is to rig ruling to the highest person willing to pay |

RZArecta2:Why should we pay $850 million to a very dubious company that never invested a kobo in Nigeria? How come some of you are so unreasonable because you hate the president? What is the justification for paying the dubious sum of $850 million to the company? Jonathan was Vice President when the deal was signed. He became president some few months later and refused to fulfill the terms of the contract. Some few weeks to handover, he signed an out of court settlement with the company in a very dubious manner but didn’t have the balls to pay. So, you expected the new government to just hand over $850 million of Nigeria’s money to the company based on a last minute dubious negotiation? Is that how you will run Nigeria if you ever become president? Sigh! Let me make this clear to you and other misinformed wailers, Nigeria will not pay $9 billion to that criminal company and their PDP collaborators. |

Ten billion dollars is a bit too much for a third-world country to pay a single company. 500 million is a bit reasonable. This might be karma for what we did to MTN. And In case you don't know, the United Kingdom are very angry with the way Buhari is going after stolen wealth stuck in UK and USA banks. I thought those country had money of thier own, well they do, but they're very greedy and want what everyone has. We were never truly freed from the British. |

smogup:The company instituted both cases, US and UK. That company has every toga of fraud, why would they institute 2cases on same subject in different jurisdiction. Thank God they are finally using their head. This contract was designed ab initio for failure. How come a company without office, financial investment or human capital in a nation is claiming breach and requesting for 20yrs profit as penalty? The question is, what was the consideration they brought to table? What are the terms of the contract, I believe the contract would have terms for determination of the contract. |

In view of the above, and in an attempt to unravel the circumstances surrounding the entire transaction, the Attorney - General of the Federation , with the approval of Mr President , has requested the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , the National Intelligence Agency and the Inspector -General of Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the company , the circumstances surrounding the agreement and the subsequent event, which includes commencing a full-scale criminal investigationIs this not the first thing they should have done before breaching their contract with the foreign firm? Useless, clueless government. What do you expect from a government with majority appointment based on nepotism, tribalism and religious affiliation? Thank God I'm on my way to Canada. |
