Reports reaching us has it that, the delegates are selling their votes to gov bello.

In collaboration with the security agents, there's operation "show your card and collect money" going on.

Condition for collection of money is that the card must carry the name "Yahaya Bello" on it.

Indirect party primary election will always go to the highest bidder. The system is very flawed and open to money bags. The only way to curb this is to conduct a credible direct primary where all genuine members of the party are allowed to vote for the aspirant of their choice. Until then, we are just wasting our time.

That is one reason I prefer direct primaries to indirect.
