Arsenal FC are in the Europa League for the 3rd straight time after a defeat to Chelsea FC in May cost them a spot in the UCL.

The Gunners crashed out in the semis in 2017-18 and after heartbreak in Baku will now aim to go one better and clinch their first piece of European silverware since 1994.

Manager Unai Emery has impressive pedigree in Europe's secondary club competition, winning the tournament with Sevilla in three straight seasons from 2013-14.

The Spaniard will see the Europa League as a prime opportunity to win his first piece of silverware as Arsenal boss after a trophyless first campaign at Emirates Stadium.

A £135million summer splurge in the transfer window will only crank up the pressure on the Gunners boss.
