John Wick- Parabellum

First fight saw my jaw connecting solidly with the ground (who would have thought you can kill a human being with a library book?! I don't have the testicular fortitude to try such a move ). Second fight had me howling. By the third fight scene, I was almost ready to faint.

I watched the fight scenes featuring the dogs several times because the animals were like hairy, four legged soldiers. Wish I had animals like them. Their presence will deter those pesky kids from knocking on my gate and running off.

By the end of the movie I was emotionally drained. The movie is so gritty, tense and action packed that I couldn't keep my eyes off my screen. Whew!

My only issue with this movie is this- How come men who get kicked in the balls seem to recover very fast?? I'm not a man, but I have been elbowed in the breast before and mehn did it hurt like hell. I hear a kick to the testicles is sheer torture so it amazes me how come John Wick's opponents recover very quickly.

Be that as it may, this movie surpassed my expectations and I eagerly anticipate the 4th installation.
