The lamest arguments I've heard against LGBTQ.

1. "Would you be alive if your dad had gotten married to a man or your mom had married a woman?"

Erm, this is of no consequence. I wouldn't exist so it wouldn't have mattered. ‍♂️

2. "Why are you supporting them. Are you gay?"

This is like asking a white guy why he's okay with black people, plus I'm not sure my sexuality requires validation. Gay people are human beings and their right to exist and live doesn't affect anyone else materially or physically.

3. "LGBTQ is immoral and evil. It is not in our culture."

So is fornication, according to some religions but nobody goes to jail for that. Isn't Nigeria meant to be a secular state? Also killing twins was part of some cultures here so what changed?

4. "The Bible says... God created man and woman, not man and man."

Okay, but you know some people don't believe in God or your own God, right? So why would you want to impose your religious beliefs - which are personal - as laws to govern the conduct of other adults?

5. "Why are you advocating for the importation of foreign values?"

You should read more. Not going too far back, Soyinka's 1965 'The Interpreters' had a gay character. At this time, LGBTQ rights really didnt exist abroad. Nobody is importing anything, they've always existed.

6. "Gay people are paedophiles."

You do realise that paedophilia is a crime that involves an adult of any gender sexually abusing a child of any gender, yeah? Now that you mention it, what do you think of child marriage? Isn't this paedophilia too?

This woman is always in the news for the wrong reasons.who in their right mind will support someone like Bob. As a Christian, and a well bred Yoruba, homosexuality is something I abhor and can't in all honesty turn the other way just cos of freedom of expression .It shouldnt be encouraged too by any sane Nigerian.

What Bobrisky owes the FG and Nigerians is to affirm or debunk the allegations of his gay sexuality. If he refutes, then he should be discharged and acquitted, but if he corroborates, he should be made to face the law.

Your law is very rusty!

The onus of proof lies with the people accusing him of being gay. You are innocent until proven guilty and it's the governments responsibility to proof he's guilty.

Has he been caught in the act? No.

So what's your point!

Shit hole country.

No one owes anybody any explanation of their sexuality. Otherwise the police would have the authority to stop anyone on the road and demand you to prove that you are not homosexual. Yes we know that Nigeria has anti gay laws and I fully support it, but cross-dressing is not the same as being gay, legally speaking. The police has no right, no authority to arrest or publicly embarrass any citizen simply on the suspicion of being gay.
You shouldn't bother to explain these simple things to these hypocritical buffoons. Nigerians are brutes of the worst kind. They can't be redeemed, for the most part. Don't bother at all.

Even though i hate his way of life, but he has said countless times that he's not gay. We should respect people's fundamental human rights. There are security issues bedeviling this country that need serious attention more than arresting Bobrisky. Some people are just hypocrites!

Fundamental Human Rights and Rule of Law, as propounded by A.V Dicey, talk about:
1. Equality before the law.
2. Right to life.
3. Right to private life
The #3 above should be respected!

I'm not even sure Bobrisky is gay. I've watched his interviews and I discovered that he hustles a lot. Even right from his third year in the university, he had established a boutique. I pray that the Lord will touch him to stop cross-dressing, bleeching and embrace God.

In a normal system, is it right for him to dress like a woman? What's bad is bad. We have seen many putting up this cross dressing idea for dubious act.

Bobrisky is a bad Influence to our youth. As homosexual, lesbian, government should arrest him and tried him accordingly so as to send him to jail.
We have had enough of him and yet government isn't acting.

Honestly, I'm not interested in the topic or your point. However, I'd like to correct you and those liking your post, that the law permit the law enforcement agencies to act on "Suspicion"

Just note that.
