Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has stated that he believes Tammy Abraham would soon get a call up to join the Three Lions of England.

This is coming after the Nigerian born was snubbed by England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Speaking on Tammy Abraham who has netted four goals in his last two English Premier League games this season, Frank Lampard said:

“I am delighted with Tammy, delighted with his attitude.

“He has a great attitude in training and a desire to score. I thought his all-round game as well was good.

“We are working with Tammy, all the staff, to help little bits of his game where he can be even better. He is very receptive to that. I thought his performance was class. It is everything you want from him and he is unlucky not to have three, I suppose.

“I would have loved it for him [to get called up by England], but he can take a bit of a breather. We can work with him because it is a constant with all the younger players. I think England will come calling,” Lampard told reporters at Stamford Bridge.

I just hope Lampard trying to produce talents for England will not affect his decisions for Chelsea, seriously most of these English boys are not talented. They were only taught how to play football on books, who have players who are good and can be better but not most of these English players. Take Barkley for example, he is good but not sure he can be better. Tammy and Mount can be better though

No matter what, Chelsea can’t be relegated this season cus we still have players injured that can save us from that and for the defense, what’s he going to work on when the good defenders are not there and rudiga our number 1 defender is injured. The defense is poor and I’m not expecting anything more than that with the likes of Zouma, aziplkuata or wat do they call him self cus that guy is playing trash dis days
