I need assistance here please, I was making arrangement to get a Nigerian use Honda civic 2006, my choice for the civic was based on fuel economy, ease of ownership like maintance, but I had a rethink due to bad road in my area and usually flooded when it rains, now I am thinking of going for an SUV that will be good for my economic status, I started negotiating for Hyundai Tucson 2009, now the problem is that I don't know much about this Tucson, I need to know if I should go for this car, will it dry my pocket? Does the gear fail how about the engine capacity, fuel economy, parts availability and cost

Not as popular but still good especially the 2.0L i4 I am not too sure of the 2.7L V6 engine.

the parts are available but not as common as that of crv, rav4 or the civic u planned for.
but bear in mind that Hyundai parts are more expensive than the parts of other cars mentioned earlier.
however, the 4 cylinder Tucson is a goal. if u buy a good one.
