The Anambra State Government has commenced the registration of Fulani herdsmen, aimed at checking the farmers-herdsmen conflict in the state. Speaking to newsmen on the commencement of the registration, Chairman of Anambra State Cattle Menace Control Committee, Igwe Peter Eze-Amama said the registration point was at Amansea in Awka North council area. Eze-Amama said the enumeration process will help in an easy identification whenever there is a crisis, Igbere TV reports. He said, “The enumeration will assist the cattle menace control committee to fish out the bad eggs from the Fulani herdsmen in Anambra state.” Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, South-East chairman of Miyetti Allah hailed the initiative and also urged herdsmen to respect their host communities as erring individuals will be punished accordingly. http://igberetvnews.com/964228/breaking-anambra-begins-registration-of-herdsmen/ 1 Like

Nigeria is a failed experiment carried out by Lord lugard , that has turned out to be a big joke ! We are being killed in South Africa today , because they are aware , we do worse to ourselves , boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen have killed 200 times more people than the xenophobic attacks... And the main reason our brothers in SA have refused to return is still this , even with the xenophobic attacks SA is still safer than borno ! Not every city in Nigeria is safe for other fellow Nigerians to visit , just imagine all the Fulani people in Anambra walking about with ID card within the same country ! 2 Likes |
