That's 30 million naira as annual salary
That's 413 million naira as annual allowance

Meanwhile a US senator gets

61.6 million naira as annual salary
90.6 million naira as annual allowance (outside of money payed to staff. This includes allowance for furniture, travel, entertainment, housing etc)

According to cost of living index life in the US is 6.61 times more expensive than life in Nigeria

Thus a Nigerian senator is making

198.31 million naira a year (3.2 times usa senator)
2729 million naira as allowance (30 times usa senator allowance)

No wonder Nigeria is going down the drain. If the picture OP shared is true then Nigeria senators not only make 3 times what they make in the US but the allowance is 30 times and I'm sure they take money from the allowance. Who needs 7.45 million every month for furniture ?
