angry These old people will attend summits, conferences, listen to beautiful practical ideas and still do NOTHING!
Doing nothing is better, sadly they do the reverse.

Explain what you want them to do Sir.

May be we should all start telling them in precise terms exactly what to do..

please give us a breakdown of what to do at all levels, we can no longer leave it to the so called "government"

Please share your ideas here!

Make sure you don't "Japa" without a concrete plan and be ready to work your pants off.

Otherwise, na sorry be una name after 35 years you have nothing in Nija or your obodo Oyinbo - a very common scenario many Nija men have found themselves in obodo oyibo.

And trust me, the Canadians are not going to welcome you at their airport or in their community - hope you know that.

I'm not saying don't go oooo, but you all will realise in time that Nigeria is truly the only place we have on this planet.

Goodluck!

yen yen yen. Over 100 people in my office have left since 2016. They are either with the canada branch or my company or competitors. With same level as they were in nigeria. Many got jobs before they landed. So madam carry ya wahala dey go. Many are in australia and uk too doing same job. So its bad to generalise. Those going to canada are doing it legally not to go and hustle papers and do menial jobs

Mind sharing the name of your company? Is it a global service auditing/accountancy firm?

I said that because I am surrounded by people talking about going to Canada with no concrete objectives or understanding of what awaits them in Canada.

There will be no solution to the Nigerian problem until we identify the true cause of our problems - we Nigerian people and the society we have created! Yes we the Nigerian people!

Such an unimpressive country. Imagine our 'envoy' travelling to go talk with people who are killing us in their land!
How??
What for?
Is it to go and beg them to stop killing us?

Utter cluelessness angry
No mind them. Na sense them no get. Their mind didn't tell them that they are foreigners and could as well get killed by those motherfvckers. Nigeria is a joke.

The problem now is not even expanding the agricultural sector but regulating the present one before they kill off the people with dangerous, unregulated and uncertified chemicals they are using indiscriminately for food production and animal husbandry.

That is the real ticking time bomb. The country is in such a dark dungeon that is posing a threat to its own existence.

Ok, that's my field.

Do what you have to do BUT never curse or abuse or denigrate Naija.

You will remember this when you get to your chosen obodo oyibo (be that USA, Canada, Australia, UK or wherever).

If you have anything tangible in Naija like land, house - anywhere, farm. I take posterity beg you......KEEP it, RETAIN it!!!!

Again you will bless me for this advise when your reach your 'dream' Canada or wherever.

Goodluck! I hope you are in your 20s.

Abeg leave matter. Grass they say looks greener on the other side.
It is not easy like you portray over there.
You will have to toil for the rest of your life to pay bills
I have relatives and associates over there
Western countries are not the way they always portray it to be

Mind you, not everybody will run away
Some of us will have to stay back and repair this land insha Allah

The major problem we have is a knowledge problem. Even those of you running away to already developed land are still carrying the problem.
The Land you guys are running to were developed by human beings with same brains like you
But they put there brain to work to develop there Land's

Look at this present article
You discover that this agricultural problem and very many problems bedevilling us is simply knowledge problem
To build a workable system
You need knowledge, intelligence, creativity, innovation and smartness which you mustn't get from university education. If you think its a lie check whether Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zucjerberg and very many where university graduates?

Like I said before the Blackmans problem is a knowledge problem. When I am talking of knowledge it supersedes knowledge gotten from university. Its ability to apply the right knowledge, to solve problems using intelligence, smartness, wisdom and the rest.

By the time some of us begins to figure these things out. We will begin to see better societies, better environment and better quality and stock of human beings built here. But now if you like run to US, Canada, EU, Australia etc. That stench Will follow you wherever you go.

the black man is naturally deficient. there is no black nation that has been able to develop it self. in nigeria alone there is no unity. many nations in one nation. people still voted both atiku and buhari imagine. bros na to flee. i would rather pay bills than stay here inside darkness where there is no light, Assu strike , no health care(even buhari uses UK clinics). abeg forget

Ok Sir!

With your thinking it's probably best that you find your way out of Nija as soon as possible. You can't help that country.

Most of us here think Naija when the frustrations of Obodo-Oyibo hits us, as it does from time to time.

Very good luck!
