You can do that by creating a robots.txt file though it's still not 100% guaranteed..

Thanks bro buh I already know this robots.txt in web directory already. Someone said I should do that in all the files or I password the site. Which is a no braniner

Oops.. That's the only method I can think of right now. Let's see if someone else will come up with something different.

You can follow 2 steps beside robot.txt & htaccess file edit.

Step 1:
Log into your wp dashboard
Go to settings >>reading >> Search Engine Visibility (at the bottom) just click "Discourage search engines from indexing this site"

Step 2:
If you have yoast seo plugins install
Go to your dashboard >>Posts>>all post
Click the post you don't want index then click edit
Go to bottom of the page you will see yoast plugins option for the post
You will see an option advance

Allow search engines to show this Post in search results? select NO
Should search engines follow links on this Post? select NO
