Road Project : Jubilation As People Of Eha Alumona Pay Gov. Ugwuanyi Thank-you Visit (Photos)

There was wild Jubilation on Wednesday when the people of Eha Alumona paid a thank-you visit to the executive governor of Enugu State , Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi over
the construction of the Amaechenu Junction - St. Mary's Catholic Church road, Eha Alumona, after many decades of neglect.




Igbere TV reports that the jubilant people of Eha Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State were led by the member representing Nsukka East Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Nwamba, the Chairman, Enugu State Internal Revenue Services, Prince Emeka Odo and the immediate past State Commissioner for Justice/Attorney General, Chief Miletus Ezeugwu, among others.


The people who also applauded Gov. Ugwuanyi for his giant strides in all sectors of development with the state's merger resources, reiterated their overwhelming support and commitment towards the progress of his administration as well as the sustenace of the existing peace and security in the state, pointing out that the governor has wiped out their tears.


Governor Ugwuanyi speaking during the visit assured them of more projects.

He revealed that he wasn't happy when he saw their plight over the deplorable condition of the road which made him to order for the immediate construction of the road.

Contrary to a lot of reports, my governor is trying his best with the available resources. I was in Eha Alumona for a traditional marriage last month and some parts of the town has been completely rebuilt, many new roads and a long bridge there. Wish I will have time to show some works today.

We want Ugwuanyi to give us another big city in Enugu state and the city should be in Nsukka zone. We need to de congest Enugu urban like was done in the Chimaroke era.

So much propaganda with nothing show after 5 wasted years, while other states are commissioning mega infrastructural projects

It seems this city was built just to support marathons, this is the marathon runners dream city and ultimate destination.

The infrastructure in this state hasn't changed much. Apart from some noticeable pot holes and dark street lighting fittings, we still got the old Enugu city feel.

For the love of nature, come to have some rest in a lively environment.

Akanu Ibiam and Michael Okpara must be thanked for creating a city as beautiful as this.

New shopping malls springing up everywhere

Lol more propaganda of different sides of same road in front of the government house. It is time for Enugu state to move away from being mere state of poor residents to an economically vibrant city with sound mega infrastructures. The bane of Enugu state is none existent of opposition political parties, the reason the governor has failed to achieve anything. We are not even talking about high level of insecurity
