Iblad0994:YOU ALL have block heads that is why you think what Igbos stand for is hatred. we do not give a fork about what you think. I will let this slide because you mentioned "credible" and I am hoping the likes of "Tinubu" is not what you regard as credible for 2023? Put Osinbajo on that ballot or Adesina or Makinde (dude has been doing well) and watch South-East come out and vote for a Yoruba man. ALL WE WANT IS SOMEONE THAT CAN BRING MASSIVE ECONOMIC STRIDES. Why is demanding for this , which PMB clearly lacks, termed hatred for heaven sake? just why? why? why? are u not tired of the job losses and dwindling foreign investments leading to stagnant economy while small african countries are doing great? Some times I get pissed that I can only express these feelings online... cos offline, you will eat your words, i kid you not! Quorax:Bro you don’t need to be too emotional with Nigeria situation. Nigeria is crested to fail and for someone to be a president, he gotta be strong especially if that person is gonna be from the south. Forget about the fact whether Adesina, Osinbajo, Iweala, Peter Obi, Fashola, or Soludo are credible or with brain to move this nation forward. They will not be voted coz Nigeria politics don’t reward good people. That’s why it’s left in the hand of devilish people and strong unremorseful people like Buhari, Atiku, et al. While I regretted that Buhari was voted in the second time , I don’t think there is any much difference between him and Atiku coz they are both bird of a feather. While I understand where you’re coming from and how frustrated you are with Nigeria, I also share in your sentiment coz each and everyone of us on Nairaland is frustrated. But in politics, you have to take a side whether it’s the good or bad side, it dosen’t matter and everyone gotta support his candidate. That’s was why I talked about credible Yorubas and if you follow my replies to other people you’ll see that I advocated for Fashola/ Osinbajo. I can’t speak for the Igbos that’s why I’m not tryna discuss about any potential candidate, the Igbos gotta speak for themselves. Gracias. |

Obviously you are still a kid. Elections in a democracy must produce a winner and loser(s). There is nothing like denying any candidate of power. Jonathan was defeated and nobody denied him of anything. It's plain silly to assume only one outcome in an election e.g assuming Jonathan must be voted for by ALL Nigerians. I will advise you to concentrate your energy, time and resources on how to pass the next JAMB exam instead of dabbling into political issues that are clearly above your mental capacity. I totally agree with your last sentence. Tambuwal or Kwankwanso aren't well popular and they don't have the financial muscles to successfully defeat the ruling party. Iblad0994: |

I guess you were not born yet in during the 1999 electioneering process. At the 1999 Jos Convention of the PDP, the following people contested; Chief Olusegun Obasanjo Dr Alex Ekwueme Chief Jim Nwobodo Chief Philip Asiodu Sen Don Etiebet Graham Douglas. If you are waiting for a time that all the parties will zone their tickets to the S/East before Igbos contest, then you are going to wait for at least 20years. Sctests: |

Nobody is holding any ethnic group down. Igbo candidates are not running for the Presidency, are you expecting Nigerians to go to their sitting rooms and drag them out to contest by force? MasterofNL: |

Dagrace01:If you need unity, the only logical thing to do is to support SE since SW and SS have taken their turn. SE will be foolish to support SW in 2023 as that would see them get a chance of ruling Nigeria after 16 years from 2023. If APC zones presidency to SW in 2023, SE will support North and stand a chance after 8 years from 2023. If APC zones presidency to SE, PDP should be magnanimous enough to zone presidency to SE for unity. |

sogodihno:We predicted in 1960 we won, We predicted in Shagari against Awolowo, we won. We predicted that MKO won't be president and we won in 1993 We predicted that OBJ will win against Yoruba preference and we we right. We predicted that Yar adua will be president and we won. We predicted GEJ will be president and we won. 6 correct electoral predictions against 2 yoruba predictions in 2015 and 2019 that happened just yesterday. Abeg Yorubas are latecomers in this game. ![]() |

Sctests:Lol, seems you guys have been predicting and supporting other people since 1960 and yet you’ve never ruled except Ironsi that ruled for few months. Don’t mention Azikwe, he’s just a ceremonial head and a slave to the Northerner then. Yes, your treachery showed first during Shagari era, when you guys voted against a brainy Awolowo to be slave under the Fulani. The Yoruba never cried marginalization, we just swallow the defeat and moved on without name calling like betrayal. You lied about 1993, the Yorubas won through the ballot, you guys vote were for Tofa and Abiola defeated both you and Tofa. 1999 is just a game, Yoruba still won indirectly coz no matter how one’s child can be stubborn, we can’t feed him to the lions (A case of Obasanjo). You lied again in the case of Yar’adua, the Yorubas voted him also if you know history and infact the election is marred by such high level of rigging that INEC never published the results officially. Yar’adua later confessed he was rigged into government. You lied again about Jonathan first term in 2011, the Yorubas voted overwhelmingly for Jonathan except Osun state. Jonathan won 5 of the six SW states in 2011. In 2015 and 2019, we all know what transpired and God willing 2023 will reveal itself soon. In as much as I love the fact that you try to show the timeline of the SE achievement in politics, you missed the actual fact that No man of SE origin have ever been voted through the ballot in a presidential election. In 2023, try to present Obi and let’s see how it goes. I wish you guys the best and hope Nigeria get it right by then. |

Sctests:So Yorubas didn't vote for Yaradua and GEJ? And what happen in 1993, wasn't predicted by anybody, Abiola still won without ur irrelevant 5% votes, confirming the uselessness of ur votes, it is the same annulment that help OBJ into the presidency. Stop disgracing ur family here and keep quiet. |

Iblad0994:Ibrahim let's stop deceiving ourselves, the electoral fortunes of you yoruba have not been better than the Igbos. The Igbos were president before you and were VP before you. You started winning national elections just yesterday after donkey years in political doldrums. That's an unalloyed fact. Don't get ahead of yourselves. Nobody is forcing you not to contest, PDP will wait for APC to zone their ticket and then take it from there. If you think incumbency will play a role, go to Supreme Court and follow the presidential election cases, you'll find out that all avenues to rig in future elections are being blocked as we speak. Buhari (your only hope) has said he will not be anointing any successor in 2023, according to him, he wen't through hell contesting four times and anyone who is interested should also go through the crucible like he did and contest. You are on your own come 2023. |

Everyone except the wilfully blind knows the criminal killer Fulani elements are less than 1% of the Fulani productive population that are constantly producing the nation's massive daily beef requirements, building mega refineries in Lagos, and representing the country in the UN among others. |

Every sensible Nigerian knows Jonathan was boothed out just for politics and not because he didn't perform well. The north is the reason why this country cannot progress. Those guys are one hell of a baggage. They want power but what have they done with all the power they got since the amalgamation? Their region is still the most backward in everything except religious fundamentalism and terrorism. PDP which I am a card carrying member of will field a northern candidate again in 2023. Abuooki lovea power and wants power as the basis of Nigeria's unity, he will get power! APC will die with buhari after 2023 QuotaSystem: |
