The Presidential Tribunal has dismissed President Muhammadu Buhari’s petition, alleging that Atiku Abubakar was a Cameroonian, Igbere TV reports. Igbere TV reports that the five-man panel tribunal, Tuesday, held that the petition was “diversionary”, “incompetent” and “lacked merit”. The Tribunal also ruled that Buhari and the APC ought to have filed a Cross-Appeal to query Atiku’s eligibility to contest the February 23 presidential election. That's not what the tribunal said. They only claimed it should have been its own petition. |
