Ntorrrr. Good for you. Since you want cheap, what you get is cheap jobs. 15k for a website? After buying domain and hosting, all the guy has to enjoy is like 6k and you expect him to give you the best with 6k? Fact is that, he is not even competent enough.

My advise: Get a better website designer to design this from scratch. Hire someone who will take 25k upwards with good jobs to prove his competency. Cheap will keep making a mess out of your work. Even the graphic designer used for your books is not good enough to attract professional patronage.
