Nigerians on Twitter have reacted to the statement made by the Vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo that "Buhari will take 10m Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years", Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had earlier reported that Osinbajo, said that 10 million Nigerian would be out of poverty in the next 10 years.

Osinbajo made this promise on Thursday at Abdullahi Fodio Palace in Birnin Kebbi when he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to take 10 millions Nigerian out of poverty in the next 10 years, we believe very strongly we can achieve it in collaboration with the state governor.

“We are here in Kebbi for several things and to promote National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and petty traders’ businesses, and to inspect the renovation of the market in the state,” he said.

Sai baba according to zombies.

Osinbanjo is just being a disgrace to afonjas, Christians and Nigerians. This administration has plunged more people into poverty than what the past administration did in 16 years, yet you'll see people like the dead meat seller shouting Sai baba with utmost vigor.

The problem with Nigeria is with the people especially the youths of we can't see hypocrisy and bigotry for what it is den we ave lost it as a nation.

it's very possible to raise 10millon people out of the extreme poverty to just being poor a state of existential hand to mouth.. while returning the more than 100 million middle classed back to normal poverty... the statement should be directed to the Millon's of IDP and others who don't know where they are going to get breakfast by 3pm
I weep for Nigeria.

Which 10years? You guys have 3 years 9 Months left. We are counting down already.

We are already the poverty capital of the world so a student that is bottom of the class in the 1st Term cannot disappoint his/her community again. That's the worst that can happen.

You suckers bestow too much power on the title "pastor"-- an appendage any monkey can pick up. Who verifies the calling and anointing?

Yet they never fail to disappoint.
