COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, IKERE-EKITI: WHO GOT WHAT, WHEN AND HOW?
For College of Education Ikere-Ekiti, the battle for the Provost of the institution has been won and lost with the announcement of Prof Adeoluwa Olufemi Victor as the new Provost by the government of Ekiti state last week.
It was however, gathered that many stakeholders, including students, parents and lecturers showed more than a passing interest in the process leading to the emergence of the new provost with a view to ensuring that laid down procedures were followed.
According to documents, the new Provost was picked from among seven contestants for the coveted post.

they're all PhD holder's , Prof. Is just a rank, the other Dr. maybe "Chief" Lecturer at either Polytechnic or college of Education. Both Prof./Chief Lecturer are all level - 15 ( on special scale), with same benefit as permanent Sec.

we don't have CMD. Calder in College of Education Condition of Service. We run College Clinic. With Nursing Sup. as Head. Only Academic Staff can Head college of Education. According to that Nigeria College of Education Condition of Service. And mind you, one of the condition is the candidate MUST have education qualification such :::---- PGDE, Bed, BSc. Ed., BA. Ed.

is everything bribe This is Academic environment pls, and this is Southwest. You must satisfied the condition of service first. In academic there are rules. Try and learn, forget your mind set of bribe in all things

Even if the renumeration is the same, The Regards/ Respect and opportunity can never be the same, It takes alot of efforts to become a prof.
