My brother, Bayelsans don't play politics of bitterness. They have moved on from the 2015 . Hence, the current senatorial zone of GEJ is Apc .You can continue playing your bitter politics far away in your zone
Simply because Dickson wanted to dictate what happens in General district.

So the man moved against them. If not Pdp will still win.

Same Federal might but pdp won in 2015.

So is no different.

Cocolatti:
In saner climes, elections are won or lost based on issues affecting the people and the people's votes determine the outcome of the election. Here in Nigeria we are talking about election results being decided by Godfathers instead of the electorate. No wonder that a Governor who refuse to pay workers salary has the guts to stand for re-election because he knows that the people's vote will not determine the winner.
I think this write-up has cleared us on how the salary arrears in Kogi state came up. From this write-up, we were told that the governor wada of PDP had applied for bailout of N50 billion to offset backlog of salaries in 2015 shortly before he left office which was not granted. But the money has just been completely released to the incumbent governor Bello and he has cleared the entire backlog. And if that is the case, it then means that the backlog was accumulated by the former governor wada and not the incumbent governor bello.

If you are living in bayelsa, you would have understood how much the masses now hate pdp courtesy of Dickson's performance in his last tenure. The man is very arrogant, self-centered and forceful. He caused so much pains to the civil servants. In fact, the people of bayelsa hate him with passion. They've been enduring pdp all these while because apc had never presented a better candidate before now.

The only thing submissive to Dickson is the so called Ijaw Youth council because those guys there are money lovers whose loyalty can be bought with money.

With this I say, Dickson has destroyed pdp in bayelsa with his own acts. The people of bayelsa has rejected him and his successor (whom he is trying to force to the people).

Actually, Nigeria was worse under Jonathan because he was weak, clueless and too gentle. But Nigeria became a disaster under Buhari who is an illiterate, ethnically biased, religiously bigoted and has no knowledge of economics. Atiku would have been the worst because the PDP looting machinery could have entered gear six. Therefore, in 2023, we citizens need to try someone with less scandal, someone with deep knowledge on how to grow our economy and reduce borrowing and some who can unite the country and create healthy competition amongst the regions.
For this election: APC will win Kogi state but PDP will win Bayelsa. Bayelsa is not Ekiti. In the zone of the APC candidate, the gov.has his commissioners as footsoldiers. The governor will deliver his Western zone; Jonathan, out of respect will deliver his Eastern zone and the deputy may finally come from Jonathan's East. The Central zone is the PDP candidate's zone, and what will he gain if he didn't deliver that side wholesale.

I was shocked to read here that the former governor wada of PDP had in 2015, applied for about N50 billion to off-set backlog of salaries. Then N20 billion was released to the incumbent in the first tranche and the final tranche of N30 billion was released in July this year.

That is to say that it is not the present governor bello who accumulated this backlog of salaries, but the then governor wada did. So why has the media been misinforming, deceiving the masses and blaming the wrong person?

It is really worrisome that religion and ethnicity have blinded majority of Nigerians, such that they are not interested in asking GEJ and other leaders in the past what they used our money to do when we had a huge revenue from oil, and yet they could not pay workers salaries and pensions in almost all the States of the federation. Not to talk of building infrastructure.
How stupid n foolish are you to write this?

U ppl should live GEJ out of this. He's tired of talking to Dickson cuz the governor is extremely arrogant, filled with pride, coupled with the sentiment of "core Ijaw & non core Ijaw. Some of GEJ loyalist are already alingining with APC to work against PDP. Deputy governor's younger brother who is a force in Nembe defected 2 days ago to the APC, senator Amange who does the dirty job for PDP in Bayelsa east defected last week to the APC. King A.J Turner, GEJ's trusted ally have being secretly meeting with Sylva since last year to work against Dickson and put away whatever has happened between them(sylva & Gej). Though pride on both sides won't let them say it publicly but GEJ and Sylva have reconcile. Dickson is a greedy bastard.
