Obaseki will be the architect of his own bad fate, the man is just nervous and some people are obviously taking advantage of that to sow dispute between him and the party. He might make APC lose Edo State, if he doesn't listen to the voice of reason and calm down.

Adedibu was an illiterate who was a power broker in Oyo State (he also did not talk much; even when he spoke he spoke nonsense, yet people listened to him). Oloye too in Kwara State. And so on. One thing common with these kingmakers is that they bit more than they spoke. Oshiomole needs to learn to talk less and bite more. He made Obaseki, he should be able to break him. As governor, he should have built sufficient bridges by empowering people who have bases in the grassroots. These people would ensure Obaseki does not return either in the APC primaries or in the main elections.

As for Obaseki, being an intelligent man does not translate to being an effective politician. Ask Fashola how to placate leaders. You need to build bridges else you'd mess yourself up like Ambode did. Never, ever, fight your godfather, except you are convinced he is indispensible. If you make the mistake of re-ploclaiming the house of assembly, they'd impeach you for sure.

I didn't want to respond because I am not sure if you are a tribal bigot or not as I did not have any ethnic colouration in my submission. Yet, it is important to clear things in case you failed to understand.

The Yoruba political model espoused by Chief Awolowo, now Bola Tinubu is a model that can make Nigeria soar in all aspects. Can you convince me that this is a lie? Can you point out ten politicians in Nigeria who fought their godfathers and succeeded without crises? What caused the crisis that led to the Western Region being labelled wild, wild west? In case you are not aware, the crises between Awolowo and Akintola which triggered the crisis then the was also one of the remote causative factors that triggered the January 1966 coup.
