Sancho is nothing special. Even a donkey like lingard will look special in that German League.
Sancho is very good ooo. Why is coutinho not lighting the Bundesliga up?

I disagree, FDJ's best wing is DM, he played DM for Ajax and Netherland and go see and how brilliant he was. Besides he is faster Busquets. And Iniesta is gone forget about him, different players have different skill sets and when a player goes he and his skill set go with him. Just like there can never be another Pele or Maradona or Ronaldinho or Messi. Stop looking for "next this" or "next that" you sound like those annoying editors of sports tabloids that hype every player next Robben, next Messi next this one next that one and when the player fails to live up to hype they say he has failed. That's how they were shouting that Coutinho is next Iniesta but when he didn't live up to hype they said he failed.
So please just remove that notion from your head.
.
I still think FDJ's best wing is DM, as DM he is even better than so many more experienced DMs than he.
De jong having great performances at DM for ajax doesn't mean that's his best position. Heck he even played as a cb there for a while and was good. He is better as a CM where he can influence the game better.

Arthur played as a DM for gremio, where is he playing now?

Why didn't he tear up the Champions league last season? Na only bundesliga he dey smart. After Barca has destroyed countinho confidence in himself it's going to take more than 5 matches for him to re discover his form back. He will lit up that League just watch. Guy even you will tear up that League.

Who was best midfielder in Europe last season? FDJ.
What position did he play? DM.
Who was Ajax best player last season? FDJ
What position did he play? DM
During pre season, which position did FDJ play to win most of his man of the match awards? DM
Matches FDJ played and he won man of the match, what position did he play? DM

See eh the awards don't always lie and FDJ influences matches more as DM than as CM. Just try and watch a few of his videos, and you will see that FDJ is an awesome DM even Netherlands know that his best position is DM... Heck you are the only person I know that wants FDJ to continue playing CM sef

5 reasons Borussia Dortmund can beat Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League group stage

1) Jadon Sancho is on fire!

If the England international's current form were any hotter, he'd spontaneously combust. Two goals and four assists in his first four Bundesliga games also included an exceptional international break during which the England international struck twice to open his goalscoring account for his nation.
He has just a single goal and assist in seven UEFA Champions League outings so far, but the 19-year-old has made significant strides forward since Dortmund were beaten by eventual runners-up Tottenham Hotspur in last season's Last 16. Those statistics are going to improve.

"He's still a 'kid, he's 19, has all the right characteristics, and if he doesn't suffer a dip, he'll be a top player," Dortmund teammate Alcacer said of Sancho recently, high praise from a man who played with Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez at Barcelona.

"There are doubts because of his age, but as a player and a person in the dressing room, there's no faulting him. If he keeps improving and acquires a few more attributes, he'll be one of the best in the world.
2) Lionel Messi might not play

3) Paco Alcacer, Dortmund's inside man

The Spain international joined Dortmund - initially on loan - from Barcelona at the start of last season after two years at the Camp Nou.He did not manage to establish himself as a first-team regular - he scored 10 times in 37 La Liga appearances - in the face of superhuman competition for places from the likes of Messi, Neymar and Suarez. However, he clearly learned from training with them, and that knowledge is now being put to good use at Dortmund.

The ex-Valencia man has scored in every single competitive game for club and country this season, netting 10 goals in eight matches. He scored three times in two UEFA EURO 2020 qualifiers for Spain during the international break, and has five goals in four Bundesliga matches this season.

"I've never experienced that," admitted a gobsmacked Favre. "When he plays, he almost always scores."

4) Fortress Signal Iduna Park

"Dortmund has something magical with their unbelievable fans and the famous Südtribune," said Alcacer when he first joined the Ruhr Valley club. The Yellow Wall certainly is magical. Well, when it's behind you…

Dortmund's intimidating 12th man has a formidable galvanising effect on the hosts. None of Dortmund's 2018/19 group-stage opponents - Atletico Madrid, Monaco or Club Brugge - managed to score at the iconic venue as Favre's men moved into the knockout stages boasting the competition's best defensive record.

5) No country for Spanish teams

Put simply, Spanish clubs do not like playing in Dortmund.

Atletico - the last Spanish visitors - were beaten 4-0 in last season's group stage, and BVB have lost just three of their 15 European home matches against Spanish opponents. Five of the last seven have been won, offset by just a single defeat.

And who could forget what Dortmund did to Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the competition in 2013, with Robert Lewandowski scoring four times in a 4-1 first leg win on the way to BVB reaching the final. While Dortmund's home sweet home is a major asset for them, being 'on the road' is anything but a pleasant trip for Barca.

Ernesto Valverde's men have won just four of their last 13 away games in European competition, and will still be reeling from their last outing on foreign soil: that incredible 4-0 semi-final second leg loss at Anfield, a win masterminded by former Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp.

Imagine this long epistle on why ordinary Dortmund can beat a whole Barcelona.

Na FraudVerde I blame sha.

Valverde has now made Barca look so little that it's even looking like Dortmund might beat us tomorrow.

Fraud they should have sacked since Roma.

When you have Arthur, FDJ, Greizmann, Suarez, Busquets, Alba and it's still looking like you may not win ordinary Dortmund then there's a big problem.

Make we shaa win tomorrow.. That's my own.

Are you ok? Who is trolling? Do you think countinho left Barca with a sense of achievement or pride? When you are considered a flop you begin to doubt your ability and your confidence will be diminished.

Don't just assume that everyone is like you. If you fail at something or you are considered a flop if it diminishes your confidence or you begin to doubt yourself it doesn't mean that everyone experiences the same thing.
Ronaldo has missed many penalties, does it diminish his confidence? Messi has missed simple chances does it diminish his confidence? Even Coutinho didn't want to leave Barca. If we hadn't signed Griezman, Coutinho would have stayed.
It's you people that throw words around that Coutinho is flop etc but he isn't he may thrive in Bayern, he may not but he isn't a flop.
And in case you don't know, these players and teams have professional psychologists who are paid to ensure they don't experience "diminished confidence"

This is very good, Real Madrid won the champions league thrice in a row and they finished 2nd in their group twice, Liverpool won UCL and Tottenham reached finals both teams finished 2nd in their groups. If we finish 2nd in our group its not bad, its not even the end of the campaign and I think tougher opposition will make us sit up. Our UCL exit last season showed so much complacency, complaceny that teams that finish 2nd rarely have because they keep meeting tough teams
I totally agree with u

Becareful what you wish for homie!if records are anything to go by,I wouldn't want Messi to win the golden boot this season except the 'champions league's'.This is because Barcelona have never won the champions league with Messi as the European golden boot winner,I thought the jinx was going to be broken last season after we had won the UCL semifinal's first leg against Liverpool, but sadly we had to settle for another heartbreak, once again I'm saying this'messi won't win this season's European golden boot'
May I hear a big amen?
AMEN!!!!!

So, Roberto has been stapled to defensive position still. This means Wague is going to have a hard time dislodging both he and Semedo for that RB spot.

Isn't it wonderful how Messi just "recovered" in time for the Champions league? Man has been "injured" last month and couldn't even play on Saturday but "miraculously" recovers cos of UCL...
Thank God

I still don't think he is fully fit. But he has never played against dortmund before in their stadium and wants to experience it. He definitely won't start.

There's something quite strange about this injury.

Season started Aug 17th,
Today is September 17th.

Who would have thought that Messi would miss a whole 1 month of football.

I fear a relapse, if he's not fully fit then he should be out.
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Astark: 5:45am On Sep 17, 2019
Well the headstart is over, messi has given all Europe footballers a month headstart in golden boot award, the highest goal scorer now has 7 goals, if messi managed to claim this year golden boot as usual, it won't be funny.

As Barca start it's first 2019 champions league game, I pray we will win and win the champions league, Amen.

because Barca can't risk another injury from him in a useless game. Barca don't need another la liga trophy, we want the cl cup and messi and our top players need to be in their best shape

I can still remember how Air Mark was so sure and certain that Liverpool will qualify for the UCL final even after Barca was leading THREE goals to ZERO in aggregate. The funny and annoying thing was that Liverpool still qualified after all his sureness and certainty.

Still can't believe some people still support that fraud of a coach in this forum.

Among all the coaches that are being attacked now (Ole, Emery, Kovac, Low etc), Valverde is the worst of all.
