I got this laptop from a relative who reside abroad. She has used it before, got a new one and stored away this one for a while until i requested for a laptop. It is a compaq presario cq 57. It runs on window 10. It is quite slow and i am worried. Anything i can do to help. I am not computet savvy. Your advice is much appreciated Just noticed the battery doesn't last |

Due to the Ram and hdd capacity of the system, window 10 might make it run slow, so degrade it back to window 7 and see how it works. 1 Like |

update I took the laptop for fixing and it was discovered the hard disc is bad. It was replaced and issue solved. Cc: benjaninblinks, sleekfun. Thank you guys for your response |
