[Don't compare Nigeria with Hong Kong, Naija police will kill them all. quote author=franchasng post=81978178]Chai shocked shocked

Nigerian youths are too docile to demand for change in governance, constitution, reforms, sadly cry

Take a look at Hong Kong. If Nigerian youths could stand as one like they did during xenophobic attacks protests, believe me Nigeria won't remain a mess it is now[/quote]

Perhaps you need to experience life outside of Nigeria before you dub the expenses on emigrating “waste”.

You and I know that the chances of surviving and succeeding in Nigeria is low, even with your 3 million start up business, you’re not 5% assured of success. Why? Because the basic support systems of human survival are non-existence here.

And when you eventually maneuver to be to be making profit off your business, think of the social hazards and the value of life in Nigeria - ZERO!

Again, if you’re a young person with means to leave this country legally, please do.

Reminder: Nigeria is currently the world’s poverty capital. By 2050, almost 40% of the world’s poorest people will be here. You can decide to help change the narrative by first saving yourself and then lifting others.

With 3million I can start up something reasonable for myself. Rather than waste it because I want to travel out

The best thing that can happen to any Nigerian youth under this "next level" government is to relocate legally to countries with better n quality life style.

Naija na jungle and you must be an animal to survive in the jungle and only the predators succeed.

I don't know about you but as for me 3 millions is more than enough to make me start up a business and nurture to grow. I currently have 2 cars that I use as uber and currently trying to buy another one. Guess what ? The money I used to start was not even up to a million. The profit from the first car and my monthly salaries was what I used to buy the second and about to buy the third one.

Too be successful in life having a dream is not a enough. You must be willing to sacrifice some pleasure ble and comfortable lifestyles to succeed.

Bro please can talk to you about uber??
Can you drop your number for me abeg or chat me up on 08137409145

I just finished reading this content on nairametrics. The truth remains that you don't necessarily have to leave this country to make it in life. Oh and the notion that there is no good jobs around is a big lie. There are lots of good high paying jobs around. The question is, have you built yourself to land these jobs. These are not the jobs you get with your basic BSC from most Nigerian Universities.

A lot of you waste your time here being tribalistic while forgetting to add value to your self. Oh, in case you don't know, all these tribal battles most of you engage in have turned this platform to a playground. Most people looking for serious people don't come here anymore. I was talking to an HR consultant days back and she was looking for peeps to fill in some job vacancies with take-home of 500k and above monthly. I suggested she check on nairaland. She simply told me you don't see such calibre of people on nairaland. That she comes here only when she's looking for people for unserious roles like drivers, admin assistants and similar low ass jobs.

Leave nairaland and go and build yourself for the future.

If you were abreast with reality on ground, you would realize that it takes a lot of money, time and job exposure to build yourself up to a position where employers are looking for you.
The country is unfavourable to young people. That's the bottom line.

People do not leave simply because of the salary.

Have you considered standard of living?, Security, basic amenities, peace of mind, excellent emergency healthcare?

Being a millionaire or billionaire annot buy all of this.

As a millionaire, one kidnap can leave you broke in one fell swoop.
Even someone as rich and dangote can have a cardiac arrest and will not have time to board a private jet before he gives up.

Have you considered emigration as a means for better future for your kids?

Where do such people go to?

Because I need to channel my energy to where my value will be greatly recognized and appreciated.

It will be great if you reply

This is the problem with some of our youths everyone wants to start big only few people are willing to start small. This is why I respect the igbos. Give him 3 million come back like 3 years later and see what her will do with that money. With vision, sacrifice and determination a person with 500k can succeed in Nigeria.
You are not getting the point. It is not all about money though money is number one. People want to raise their children in a sane country where their lives are valued and where their properties and investments are secured. Do you know that in Saudi Arabia, you can drive alone in the desert through the night without police presence? Yet there's no armed robber that will harm you. In some countries, you don't have to pay for basic things by yourself, your VAT will take care that. Nigeria is the worst country in the world. You won't understand this if you are not born in an average family.

My brother, with that 3million naira, u will be gambling if u intend to do business with it here. With that money, no solid business can be sustained with it, or better still, the chances of survival are very thin. U will only get to know when u try it, because several limiting factors are there lining up.

As at the time that statement was made 3 million naira could still work depending on the kind of business one intended to do but as off today 27 November 2020 I honestly can't say for some people but for me, there are many businesses I can successfully run with 3 million naira one of such business is the dry food stuffs business. E.g Rice, beans, garri, yams and many more. I know this because it's one of the businesses I am engage in.

Another business one can successfully run with 3 million naira is Forex Trading for does that have the guts.
I currently have about 1.8 million in Forex the monthly return is worth the risk. Because in 8 months I recovered my full investment.

Another business is the Grade A OK Business. Be it shoe or clothes I know some few guys who started with less the 2 million but are making it big time.

With 3 million anyone that knows business will make it in the phone accessories business or even second hand phones.

At the end, it's not ONLY about the business capital. It also involve you and the level of sacrifice you're willing to make.

The igbos have at about 60-70% successful business management rate than any other tribe in Nigeria one of the reason for this is their willingness to go the extra mile and sacrifice.

Spent 5-10 years in Apprenticeship with all mana of insults and embarrassment both from Oga and madam.
After settlement most of them sleep in their own shops for many years and other hustling stuffs just to make sure the is successful the end result ? You see a supposedly struggling igbo man with his small Shop and itel phone building mansion in his village.
