Update on the Conversation between Ike and Tacha about Mike

Tacha: He knows how I am. He knows my weaknesses and how I react, so he pokes at me deliberately to get a reaction from me.

Ike: He is my friend and I see him do that. He did to Frodd and now he is doing it to u

Tacha: Now that I have understood, I won't give it to him

Ike: Wow!! I'm so impressed. I don't think at 23, I would have had things so figured out.

I don't know why Ike is being dragged. He concured to the truth that Mike likes provoking Tacha and Frodd. So because Mike is his friend, u don't want him to say the truth. Tacha is his friend as well.

I'm not dragging Ike, but I think he shouldn't have entertained the talk with Tacha about someone that he calls his best friend in that house that far. Concurring with what Tacha said kinda rubs me off the wrong now that I've realized it was Mike that was being discussed. I'm not saying Ike shouldn't call a spade, a spade, but he'd have told Tacha to go sort it out with Mike and not entertain the discussion too much. Let me give you an example of what I expected Ike to do.

1. The Saturday night when Seyi was trying to end the beef between him and Tacha, when they moved to the closet and Seyi brought up Khafi's talk (the night he called her a little Arrow), Tacha told him straight up that she won't interfere in their beef and he'd go settle their beef because she won't be caught in the middle. When Seyi was trying to make her see his grouse with Khafi, Tacha refused to keep the discussion about his anger with Khafi continue but rather steered the course of the discussion to both of them.

2. The night Venita was evicted, Tacha and Ike were discussing Venita, along the line Tacha brought up the topic of HMs that did well in arena games but were no longer in the house, Ike mentioned Sir Dee and Tacha said Sir Dee was her guy and changed the topic immediately from him to Nelson.

3. Finally, when Frodd and Sir Dee were having issues during their team's task preparation, Frodd complained to Esther about Sir Dee and Esther told him that Sir Dee was her paddy and won't entertain the talk, she advised Frodd to go talk to Sir Dee without agreeing with anything Frodd said about Sir Dee. It made Frodd to go meet Sir Dee and they settled it, becoming close friends few days before Sir Dee and Esther were evicted.


That's what I expected Ike to do. Yeah, he didn't criticize Mike, he didn't defend him either. The wise thing to do was to tell Tacha the same thing she always tell others, go settle with your shit with him or her.
