Whether or not there is evidence of rape doesn't matter in this case.
The lady called out two of his pastors as witnesses. They were the one who covered the issue when it happened.
The pastor only need to deny if he slept with her and when.
The lady was under 18 years as at the time of the alleged sexual incidence and that made it a case if statutory rape.
The Nigerian law doesn't recognize sex with an underaged girl as consensual; it's rape and I am sure the pastor understand this.

It's going to be difficult to prosecute Fatoyinbo, even though he is probably guilty as charged. But unfortunately, our legal system runs on evidence...and there is no evidence.

So what Busola can hope for AT BEST...is a private settlement.

To any person reading this, if you have been raped...please report the crime within the first 48 hours. God forbid anyone of us would undergo this suffering (yes, men too get raped). Let them get evidence...so that a succesful case can be established.

Our government too should spend more on improving police response to rape too.
